Online Deals Black Friday 2016

 Thats too bad, i had a great experience through them. I purchased a troy lee D3 helmet online and they later emailed me to let me know that their online stock was incorrect and they didnt actually have the helmet. Let me have a carbon one instead for the same price!

 Dunbar is a brick n mortar shop in Vancouver right across the street from MEC, which is Canada's biggest outdoor retailer. So they cater heavily to walk-in traffic. They sponsor and participate in local trail days and events, which you don't get from online stores. They're super busy most of the time but I've had my bike serviced there a few times and no problems. I don't know if online sales is really their thing yet, but I suppose they are growing and making it a part of their business. Definitely not a place like jenson or chain reaction, though.

 @gbeaks33: Thanks we appreciate it! We are definitely not as big as CRC and Jenson and what not, but we are only making a bigger and bigger presence online. I run the customer service side of the online shop, and If I could post the emails back and forth between Mudmad and us, I would. His cards didn't pass the verification for International shipping, so I suggested paypal for him. He selected UPS shipping, and UPS' website was down, so I asked if USPS Express would be ok. He completely blew up on us after and was very rude and disrespectful in his response. I apologized for the inconvenience, but at the end of the day we have to cover ourselves. I asked him for a confirmation on the shipping method, to which I never got a reply. After a week of waiting, we cancelled his order. If there is an issue, we either solve it ,or find another way to get the customer sorted out like which often ends up a better deal like @DirtyHal experienced. You can't please everyone in the retail world, and that's just the way she goes. 98% of our experiences with customers are good and usually funny. It's awesome how many customers we have that come riding with us regularly, or just hang out with us at the shop.

I am gonna be suit and funny with you? you are a joke you sale products you don't have like you did with the other client here. And after all you come and say you are the victim of the broken deal??? you are a joke, go learn how to work with on line international sales before you go play with Bikers.

 one thing is shure I am traumatised by this Dunbar shop that's it. I will never buy on line international anymore.

 This is the kind of attitude I got from a simple "UPS is down, do you mind if I ship USPS Express?" in our emails. I also did not say it WAS fraudulent, I said the card details did not match, and we had to err on the safe side. These aggressive responses don't make us as want to go out of our way to help you, or give you the benefit of the doubt, as they are quite common of fraudulent customers we have dealt with.

 @leon-forfar: the way your bike shop do with clients like DirtyHal selling things you dont have and than fix it with another product, man for me this is fraudulant. prety normal this days on bike shops that are amateur and doesnt know how to work with online sales. I was also looking to a revew in your website a client complaining about a pair of tires he bought and had one date to arrive the tires and the tire didnt arrived as suposed to be for me that is fraudulent
These agressive responses? and you are what my boss or my school teacher? after you sent me 5 emails saying you have a problem with my Visa, than another saying you have a problem with my Mastercard, than another one beacause the UPS I chose was finiking, than another when you say that everything shows for you that my card was fraudulent...
So saying my card is fraudulent is the atitude I will spect from an average bike shop withou any reason or just because I am from Brazil?
the good side of all for me is that you never gona see my money and you dont need that.

 bought the pedal in this shop and no one accused me of trying to do a fraudulent deal with a fraudulent card. no one ass hole from the shop sent me emails saying the mailing sistem is finicking. and no one from the shop canceled the deal without any reason.
what is the difference? one shop is racist and amateur and the other is professional.
