 the national jersey is actually good quality jersey, a feet to be able to wear, and a honour to wear. Defiantly not "craptastic". In most cases its not the rider that doesn't want to where it but the sponsors who wont let them.

 Oh ok, that sucks, I mean I understand he wants a break but he should have the national title, IMO.

 he probably didn't do it cos he didnt want to have to wear the national jersey at world cups, lots of pros are skipping national champs to keep sponsors happy at the world cups

 I think that it's a good decision, no? Champery is a verry hard track, and maybe that he don't want to have an injury...

 You guys do not seem to get it. Wearing a national jersey means you CANNOT display proper sponsor logos. There is VERY limited sizes for logo placement on it, and it is limited to 2 logos.

If you are on a Professional Team, with sponsors paying the bills, this is not acceptable. Those of you who think it is "an honor" are not paying your mortgages by riding your bicycles.
