Chain Reaction Cycles/Intense factory rider Chris Kovarik starts off the 08 season with a solid win at Fontana.
Chris is living out in California with his girlfriend Claire Buchar for the winter where he is focusing on his training and preparation for the coming World Cup season. Fontana holds a great winter series as well as one of the USA national rounds and Chris took 1st place with a large winning margin at the weekend on board his Intense M6 over fast Fontana locals Eric Carter and Aaron Gwin.

Fontana takes a lot of fitness to win as it has a long pedaling section at the bottom known as the wall and this can be where the race is won or lost. Chris has been working on his fitness and it looks like his training is paying off. Chris will be on his new Blue M6 in the Chain Reaction Cycles/Intense team colors very soon.
We are looking forward to seeing Chris on the top of many more podiums this year in the Blue and White team colors.

Aussies ripping once again yeah K-man
I was suprised I could hear the guys guitar with my hlet on and the wind blowing but I heard him from a good 50ft away. The wind was easy 50mph on the gusts (thats like 80kmh for the people who usa a measurement system not based on a kings finger.)
Cant wait to race my Intense this year! PROPS CK!!!
I'm thought. he was a good rider!and i had a Socom. hahaha~
Cool. I like Kovarik's riding style..
