A little early Christmas present from all of us at Cotic, here's our #bangersnmash of all of our favourite Steel City Media video from the last couple of years. Look out for more of this in the New Year.

Thanks for all the support we have received in 2014, and here's to making 2015 a great one! Cheers, Cy @ Cotic

you cant be serious. Chromag is the king of hartail edits. Not even comparable. Start with Collectors. But was a good video nonetheless!

This just proves you don't need the latest wheel size to fly down the hill

Yeah, they look proper mean. Good luck getting one though, they have been out of stock nearly all year. Would love one made in Britain but made in Taiwan is better than not made at all.

Yeah it's a big shame about the manufacturing SNAFU. However I feel truly blessed by my first run frame from Taiwan, worth the effort of persuading Cy to get me a coil shock for it, never to be seen on the Pinkbike classifieds! . Hopefully some TW made frames will arrive sooner rather than later, it's a hell of a bike.

I really, really like my BFe 26er with 2.5 and 2.35 tires. Was thinking of getting a Solaris next. Going by the numbers, looks like it'd be more fun of a ride than my On One Inbred 29er. Slightly slacker, higher BB and shorter CS, would bring it more into the fun range. Never thought a hardtail 29er would be fun, but they are. I might skip the whole 27.5 wheelsize all together. With lightweight and strong rims out there, I run Halo Vapour's, but there are other's making wider/stronger/lighter 29er rims, a 29er will always carry more speed than a 27.5 and roll over more stuff at around the same wheel weights. Add a 120mm fork to it, anything but the biggest rock gardens will be a breeze. And if you buy a Cotic, might even get an email from Cy the owner. I mean, how cool is that? Won't get that from many other companies.

This video makes me wanna get a Soul (lol!!!)!! Have an older steel Kona Cinder Cone ('97) and for my 40th next year, thought I'd upgrade that steel and go w/ a new steel HT. Wanted to stay w/ 26 and local w/ Chromag (Stylus or Samurai) or Cove (Handjob, but I don't think they make them anymore) but the UK companies are really good (Cotic, On One InBred) too. Tough choices ahead.....

Sales numbers for all 27.5 and 29er will determine if something is dead or not to the new-consumer. Surely folks will always have 26" bikes... but if your BUYING a new bike would you really not consider the 27.5/29er regardless of discipline? Even the most hard core 26ers will have to admit... 27.5's are tearing it up. Now pick a wheel size and be a d*ck about it.
