Red Bull Joyride champions don't reach the top step by accident. It takes determination, skill, and a sheer desire to progress in order to take gold on the world stage.
With the competition only days away, catch up with 2013 champ Brandon Semenuk as he details his history with slopestyle and the preparation he's been taking to defend his title this year.

i believe that only Brett Rheeder (at X games) and Cam McCaul (26trix a few years ago) beat Brandon straight up considering an event where Semenuk had a clean final run.
Y'know what is awesome about MTB and "freestyle/extreme" sports? look how stoked other riders are when Brandon stomped his run last year. They all just got bumped down the placements, and nobody cared because he just nailed such a sick and technical run.
I have just ridden the mountain during this event the last couple of years. I may have to watch it. Watching these videos you get the feeling something special is going to happen. Good luck to all!
The real question of the week is, WHO do YOU think is gonna win JOYRIDE this year????????????? SEMENUK ? RHEEDER ? or MESSERE ? Or will it be a whole new face??? I cant fu wait to see.............. SEMENUK 1
He's not as smooth as rheeder and yeah semenuk can do cork 720s out of whale tails but he wasn't doing it at les 2 alps you could see the pressure was getting to him
Rheeder for the win
it didn't do a 7 at L2A, because he crashed in his first run and he probably wanted to get at least on safe run but unfortunately crashed again on the last jump of his second run.
