This event seems awesome. Pretty predictable comment though - simply because the fest organizers have been bashing the fmb for awhile, it seems to rub off on the general public. I'm guessing you don't watch crankworx and enjoy the other fmb events? They each serve a purpose: fest by building bigger jumps, the fmb by pushing the trick scene.

Yeah if the jump was built for a Rage Film's spring shoot (ala Derek Spong's crash) any mortal would be dead without question. Thankfully, the builders of these FEST jumps are a few more years into the future educated and seem to be the best in the industry at it. Jumps like these, while massive, are much safer than the poorly built jumps in years past. Or all pro riders are from the planet Krypton. The latter does make more sense after watching Andreu's crash.

No. The post office was special because it was centrally located, publicly accessible and grew with the riders building it. Honestly can't be replaced. But they're working on it. This is a pro level set up. It's like Greg's set up. It's massive. Pro level. And it's invitation only.
