The kind of jumps you look at on pinkbike and go "Man they'd be RAD to have a session on" and then see them in real life and just get back in the car and drive off

lol I'd be more terrified of that massive ass wooden loop, like yeah fest series jumps are one thing but matts loop is ridiculous on a whole different level.

@Scotj009: i think i'd take the jumps over the loop, just cause your wheels don't leave doesn't mean it's not terrifying and hard haha! think of the force as you go round the top would make your arms give way

@Scotj009: have you seen the chunk of footage that involves Matt flying off the loop? They didn't even show him hitting the ground and it still made me feel ill. That and like, that man is a f*cking tank of a human and he was out for a long god damn time.

Sam proving once again why he's the big air king in my opinion. What a long way he's come from dirt jumps, to the pinnacle of big jump shredding. God only knows what Mr Reynolds has in store for us at this years red bull rampage with practice sessions like this!!

@psyickphuk: if safety at very top is vastly improved eg: safety nets so riders dont get blown by gust of wind off the 1 ft wide bit of track they start on at top with sheer cliffs of DEATH to the side of them before they even get into their run! Then I'm sure. I waited all year to see Sam's run last year so I'll be wounded if have to wait another. This is a message to redbull, pull your finger out! Improve safety at the top this year. We want to watch the pinnacle of free ride mountain biking, not a live satanic ritual where an athlete is killed.

It takes a few minutes for a light beam to cross those jumps! I think it makes sense to start using cosmological measurement units from now on.
