The first European indoor dirtpark will be at your service very soon More info at www.facebook.com dirtpark.org

Dirtpark is a new venture that offers an exciting training area for both beginner and pro level dirt jumpers. Dirtpark is being built on the Skra sports area premises, located at the very center of the city, close to the Politechnika tube station. The surface area - 1300 square meters - will be filled with jumps and other soil obstacles of different sizes and types. Dirtpark provides a completely weatherproof environment, covered with an air-supported 70m long, 18m wide and 8m high tent, so riders can enjoy the sport even in the most brutal Polish weather conditions.

70metres long

Indoor Obstacles Include:

- Pump track.
- Jumps (3 complete lines), finishing with a wallride.
- Funboxes - easy, beginner level
- Medium line - beginner level, finished with a soft landing step up
- Pro line - big jumps for big boys
- Foampit - for everyone
- Rezibox - a soft funbox for your first backflips and 360's
- Miniramp - for all the skatepark enthusiasts
- Trampoline - trampbike and trampboard to practice your hangtime

The first European indoor dirtpark will be at your service very soon More info at www.facebook.com dirtpark.org

Who is responsible for dirtpark project?

Dirtpark is the brainchild of 3 heroes - Karol Kirycki, the creator of KRKprotection brand, Maciek Kucbora - multiple 4x and DH polish champion and pump skills instructor, Kamil Obrok - event manager at event agency, responsible for organizing some of the largest extreme sporting events ever to take place in Poland. Additionally, the founders have recruited top polish riders, including brothers Szymon and Dawid Godziek, of Red Bull fame, and many others to help in creating the most mind-blowing indoor dirt jumping arena possible.

Dirtpark will be opened from 12 to 10pm every day. The entry fee starts from 1 euro/hour, and packages are available. The grand opening is planned for the end of October 2011. Please visit www.dirtpark.org and www.facebook.com/dirtpark.org profile for more info.

easily. driving an eco diesel (5-6l per 100km) it's not that hard. with two bikes on the roof - not that easy.

If it's built properly, then it should be fine. But like Dirt parkorg mentioned, its just a visual and therefore will probably be a bit wider. Looks like a super sick park though!

@true biker face first i thought you had some WW2 Reference Germany Poland in one Tank (ah so Bad)... Its like 600 km or 350 Miles from Berlin to Warsaw you can easily do it by car. Come to Europe and start a Roadtrip everything is reachable by car and its so much fun with the right Dudes by your side. You can drive to Austria Italy Spain and so on...

the spot is being made exactly 1:1 accoring the visuals. thats probably the effect of diffrent lense in the photo camera than in 3d rendering program Smile

C'mon bog1dan - you are from Romania, you should know that nothing is easy on this side of the curtain, with beaurocrats and authorities with mentality that hasn't changed a bit since 30 years... I probably can't even imagine the bllsht they had to go through to get a land, permission and funds to build this. Funds are usualy easiest to find.
  • + 2
flag dirtparkorg (Oct 24, 2011 at 4:58)
we've been working on this project for about 1,5 year. as you wrote, nothing was so easy, funds neither, but mentality built on several years of dirt jumping gave us power to make it happen against all odds Smile

nandika15. Seems to me we're in the same place . It's not about the shovel or digger . It's about the space . 1300 square meters is a lot of space .

flag nandika15 (Dec 15, 2011 at 4:03)
nu trebuie 1300 m pt cateva trailuri... in locul tau as merge la un codru si acolo as face cateva trailuri si gata, sau tabletopuriSmile aaaa inteleg pt tine/voi nu ajunge un trail sau 2 trailuri, pt voi trebuie un loc de 1300 m Wink de asta nu so sa aveti nimic niciodata, si da ala ca nu vreti munciti ca sa aveti ceva, vreti sa fie gata:> nah good luck pt locul 1300 m:>

flag bog1dan (Jan 18, 2012 at 6:27)
@Nandica15 - speek in english , so anyone could understand .
for others - translation from Nandika : you don't need 1300 sq m for some trails .... In your place I would go to a forest and there i would make some trails and jumps ......oooohh I understand , for you (referring to me ) , a trail or two isn't enough , you need a place with 1300 sq m , that's why you don't have nothing , and that's why you don't want to work to have something , you want it to be done ...

I hope that you understand something from my translation .
My response : Nandika ! It's not about the work . It's about a land in the middle of the city . In a big city where a sq meter is expensive and where the officials don't let you build something .
Even Woodsroller , from US thinks this is a great and difficult job to put toghether .

Nandika thinks that he is great . He has a space at the country side . He build himself some jums and he is great . This dirtpark in Warsaw it's about something else , not some space at the country side .

Nandika , try to be polite and do not offend . We are here for bikes nor for any other reason . I don't think I know someone who ride a bike and it's lazy or stupid . Even if we are in a country with lazy and stupid people . You are in the same country as I am , even if you think you should be in another one , let's say Hungary .

It's not about me, or about the place (because if you want, certainly find a place somewhere), it's about the people and about youSmile. I just write my opinion from my experience about the romanian riders and the romanian people. For everyone to see, how is it the working here, haha: www.radiocluj.ro/uploads/pics/sanyi_csapatmunka_munkamegosztas_dolgozo_emberek_munkasok__manager_menedzser.jpg
I know, I'm very lucky with my garden and with my parents to let me build thoose trails, BUT it's about to DO SOMETHING, and not about to stay at home and wait for the solution!
So dear Bogdan, my message for you (and i say this from my experience with favour) is just to find a place, take a showel or a digger and do something!
Have a nice day!

Man , You have a problem . You are also a romanian . Talk to the subject of the post not beyond . This post with the skatepark from Warzaw it's about something else than a space at a country side and a shovel and human lazyness. Try to undestand what's the subjet of this post from Dirtpark Org . All the people around the world are saying that this is a great thing , only you think that only with a shovel and some land you could do this .

"All the people around the world are saying that this is a great thing , only you think that only with a shovel and some land you could do this ."
Man, i did not say this! I know it's the greatest! but let me ask you something... you have an opportunity for this in Bucharest???
I did say that just build a trail or two if you would ride on trails. You know, there is a proverb... who does not appreciate the small one it does not deserve the big one!
