@Stevenwalton206 I'd love to see an urban DH in San Francisco, but I stand by my comment that it would be difficult legally. Nitro circus used to go to Mexico for some of their stunts that weren't even in the middle of a city to avoid legal issues, so I imagine it would be difficult. Positive or negative energy has nothing to do with it.
If the US wasn't full of busybodies who are overly concerned about other people's individual consequences/responsibilities, and weren't armed to the teeth with lawyers ready to sue at will - we could totally have some urban DH races here.
the problem in the USA is most people do nat have health care forcing huge insurance rates for events. Then we have to tell all the shop owners and inhabitants to stay off the course and close their shops........not seeing that any time soon. It could be mounted in a downtown business area that sees no traffic on the weekend then it might work......just the right sponsor.....hello RED BULL USA!
Bernardo can beat Polc twice at urban terrain. And got a lot of talent and speed. I wish he would have the same support as the non South Americans riders do.
haha that will never happen, a average white caucasian rider born in europe or north américa can sell, with the invaluable support of RC of course, more avid brakes (just to take an innocent example) in one month than Cruz throughout his life
I'd like to see an event in old Quebec in Quebec city, we have the hills stairs and damn nice backdrop. I mean redbull hold the crashed ice here. Start up by the Citadel and make it all the way down to the docks.
