Three things:
1) The coverage (these recap vids) is on another level this year. Great job to all involved...
2) Huge nerd question - anyone know what contributes to the uniquely dusty conditions at that resort?
3) Where is Casey Brown's front tooth?

Summer is ending in Bariloche, and that's the dry season of the year, it will start raining in coming weeks and will not stop until September. With the rains comes the winter and everything covers in snow down there.

@scvkurt03: We spoke with the organizer and he told us that when the arrange the date they expected some rain before the race but this season was extremely dry so we get this rare and extremely dusty and loose conditions! By the way it was drinking amazing!

Presenter is Richard Cunynghame (not to be confused with Richard Cunningham from Pinkbike) I was advocating his mellow tones the other day, and someone said he wasn't exciting enough for EWS, personally I think he does the coverage justice.

@krissboo: I think he's taken a slightly different tone this year... gone from a little corny and disconnected to a bit more personable. Seems to have good rapport with the riders, too.

@scvkurt03: I've always liked him, even when he used to write some "out there" articles in Dirt Magazine, but he definitely seems to be a lot more comfortable in front of the camera this year. He knows a heck of a lot about the sport too, plus he can ride a bike pretty well

I dont know if its only me, but I would be interested in the Top 10 at the end of every stage in the Video coverage? I think top 3 just dont do it justice at the Level these guys are racing...

Friggin awesome coverage. I like this coverage of the full weekend in one vid (especially when it's 20 minutes). I feel like you get a good sense of the track too when we see consecutive cuts of riders hitting the same section in quick succession. Great stuff!

Fantastic coverage. The way Rude is riding, I'm not sure there's anyone out there who could go quicker. Not so sure about the womens though.... think Tracey and Rach, if she did them, might be quicker!

Can anyone explain the difference in mens and womens scoring? Why does Rude have 1000 points and Ravenel have 800? Is it about the number of people in either field?

He's very far left? he's pretty pro wall street, the stock market is significantly better off than it was under the republicans. Income distribution is way off scale but that isn't due to left leaning policies. I do not live there you are correct, but that is what it looks like from the outside. And nothing you've said indicates any logical reason for the amount of hate he gets for even being mentioned in a video not even relevant to politics.
