Vienna Air King 2015 - Eliminations
Saturday at Vienna Air King 2015 was all about eliminations and the Best Trick contest. While the eliminations were "pretty typical" when you think about gathering World's best dirt jumpers in one place, we wouldn’t like to be the judges during the best trick competition! Smooth runs going back to back with your friends and whipping around are over, here only the bangers are counted! Riders were warmed up after the quails so the crowd which gathered around the Rathausplatz didn’t need to wait long for the first combinations to drop. Antoine Bizet seems to need no warm up before his double backlips which he did more than a couple of time. Third spot for the insane French shredder. Another one who really stood out of the crowd was the winner from two years ago – Pavel Alekhin. This crazy guy from Russia may be lost in translation when it comes to word ”fear”. His flipwhip to barspin combo gave him the 2nd step of the best trick podium. Nicholi Rogatkin has been a typical best trick category guy for a while now. He catches triple whips like it was doubles, and spin cork 720s with an ease of the 360! It was his frontflip tuck no hander to barspin combo on the last jump that looked the best for us. Still, the judges has decided that his cork 720 on the first massive jump was the finest trick of the evening that has won him the title of Vienna Air King 2015 Best Trick Winner. Congratulations Nicholi!

| Torquato Test wasn't lucky enough to get into the finals but he pleased us with some Italian vigor. |

| Antoine slipped into the finals with the "go big or go home" rule tattoed to his runs. The one that gave him the win was backflip tuck no hander from the drop, to double backflip, to one foot (!), to frontflip no hander! |

| Czech Rep. finest dirt rider showed no mercy and always went hard for the win. Placing on the solid 6th spot on the starting list with the super whips like this one. Oh, he was also the only guy to pull a 360 whip off the stepdown in the Best Trick! |
