With swathes of winter mountain bike edits floating around the interweb every year, I decided to do things properly this year and bring you all something to start your 2015 well. A thought struck me late last year, what would people really like to see? I'm guessing something along the lines of a 130mm trail bike, many hucks, gaps, loose corners and 16 year old UK ripper, Elliott Heap - culminating into something rad.
Scrubbing the deck at Bickerstaffe MTB trails.
It’s wet, it’s cold, the days are short and light is limited, but with a thin layer of grease beneath your wheels and a natural instinct to be sideways, Elliott corners faster and hucks further than most would on a downhill bike.
Commit, and rip the corner apart.Born from the shadowy depths of the white van, Elliott only emerges through mystical green smoke and to the sound of manic punk rock in which his sole purpose is to shred.
There's no other way, but sideways.Watch out for this young lad in the coming seasons, he’ll be bringing something new to the table of Junior DH racing.
