We are very proud to announce our 2015 Giant New Zealand Gravity Team Line Up, which has been hand-picked over the last 12 months leading into our 2015 Giant Bicycles season launch. We knew the 2015 season would see some big changes and highly anticipated bikes, including the Glory 27.5 and Reign 27.5, so the timing was perfect for us to put a gravity team together and highlight these models. The boys have all been competing at the highest level, both locally and internationally, but there was a big gap in NZ between local store sponsorship and global team opportunities, which is now bridged by the Giant NZ Gravity Team, giving our boys the best chance at success both locally and internationally.

The late inclusion of international sensation, Cam Cole was a big boost for not only us at Giant NZ, but also the existing Gravity Team members, who now have someone to look up to and mentor them as they build as both riders and complete athletes. Seeing Cam look so at home on the new Glory 27.5 straight away was great to see, as young gun, Keegan Wright and local legend, Reon Boe snapped at his heels over the two days of shooting at the 440 MTB Park.

Giant NZ Gravity Team

- Cameron Cole (Downhill)
- Reon Boe (Downhill)
- Keegan Wright (Downhill and Enduro)
- Hayden Lee (Enduro)
- Lewis Hart (Enduro)

We look forward to a strong season ahead with the boys as New Zealand emphasizes itself on the globe, with events like Crankworx Rotorua, as a riding mecca of the world.

I'm confused, so Cams not on the factory Giant team then? So will he be doing WC's, or has he retired from that?

I think he's retired from WC and is now just doing NZ cup

He said in an interview that he may races Worlds

Sounds like the team will do selected international races so maybe he will be at a few worldcups? I hope so anyway.
The interview was done when he didn't have a contract was it not?
If it was, with this in play he might be back into the select international races.

I thought he retired from racing altogether, but would just be doing a few races here and there just for fun... but he'll have a factory sponsorship? What?

I was riding with him in the weekend at 440, he wont be competing in any WCs just New Zealand races in between studying.. He won the Auckland DH race yesterday aboard his new Giant glory , he's obviously loving his new ride !

Giant NZ must of had a big boost in their sponsorship budget as they seem to be sponsoring everything, bike parks, events, teams.

well...When I see how many people ride Giant these days, I can easily guess they can sponsor Bike parks, riders, ect ect...Not every brand would do that though !
