At least i have a better idea of what gopro and the judges want. Not just a sick line. Some personality.
He's simply riding down a flat fire-road, albeit on some kinda 'vehicle' I've never seen before. Is that the reason?
I personally felt his camera should've been tilted up more to show more of the trail ahead, and with some of the other vids showing the riders clearing obstacles of all shapes and sizes, and the terrain definitely having a LOT more features, I would've picked different vids for BOTH the first and second place.
The second-place vid has his camera pointed down way too far, so you only saw the front of his bike, and just a smidge of the terrain out in front.
As far as the quality of the footage, again, others seemed to me to have more clarity.
I didn't read the rules, so I have no idea what they were looking for. As I said earlier, the only 'advantage' (for lack of a better word) I can think of was the type of vehicle he was on. It was definitely different than all the rest, so I'm guessing it came down to that.
Was going to win
