*Registration is now full except for Junior and Senior Advanced riders
When you have a vision, it doesn’t matter if it’s going to the moon in a rocket ship you built in your backyard, it’s simply a matter of going balls to the wall until you either make it a reality or crash trying.

Goat Style Bike Festival went from a few piles of dirt to an event that everyone is now talking about. Located in a simple little Kootenay town, Creston, B.C, a transformation has created a beacon for riders across the globe to see. Batman had his bat signal; well now Creston has Goats running stir-crazy throughout the streets. Momentum has been gained and this freight train has no brakes.
On the night of Friday, July 10th, as the sun goes down…spotlights will illuminate a stage that has been set for riders to throw down. At this year’s Goat Style Bike Festival, “Friday Night Lights” has been thrown into the mix…an event that simply gives the opportunity to ride, and ride big. Brad Ewan will be raising the hype, screaming over the mic, encouraging riders to show why they love to ride. And when something big happens, when a rider stomps a trick that shocks everything within a 100-mile radius…cash will be handed over. That’s right–$2000 is up for grabs and the riders in this list can take a chunk of it, or all of it.

(There will be three spots available as wild cards chosen by riding on Friday during the day. There will also be one spot available for a Junior Advanced rider to join the “Night Lights”. Riders on the chosen list, if not available will forfeit their spot to the next contender.)
Goat Style Bike Festival 2009 has partnered with an amazing lineup of sponsors, which has undoubtedly added to the driving force of this event. Such sponsors as: Creston Valley Development Authority, Wynndel Box and Lumber, The town of Creston, Kootenay Rockies Tourism, Overwaitea, Central Kootenay Regional District, Creston’s Credit Union, Dairy Queen, and of course Favorit Cycles, Spy Optics, Sombrio, Red Bull, Pinkbike, Ride Guide, Kokanee, Decline Magazine, Bike Magazine, Dakine, Deity, Transition, Rocky Mountain Bikes, Interior Sign Design, Lavan, and many more.
There’s the slopestyle as the main event with crazy new features and huge dirt jump sets, Friday Night Lights to ramp up the hype, the 70ft mini ramp (that is so sick) to keep everyone occupied, the Lavan sponsored VIP party (in the Goat Pen) on Thursday July 9th, the Red Bull Sugga (crazy off-road dj booth on wheels) pumpin’ up the volume, riders from across the globe, Brad Ewan yelling into the mic, prizing to be won by anyone, the Goat Pen (that’s open all day and all night) and let’s not forget about the winner of Goat Style (senior advanced) gets a ticket into Crankworx. There’s so much happening at Goat Style this year…do you want to miss this movement within the mountain biking industry? Can you miss it? We welcome all of you to Goat Style Bike Festival, 2009.
