I felt the same way... 25 minutes later of hearing Brad talk and watching replays of other crap... not so much. It's like going to the movies where they say it starts at a certain time but it really beings 3 hours later. Screw this crap, I'm going to take out my tension on a sheep.
Is the bald ,bearded commentator having a few too many drinks tonight. Some off the cuff douchy remarks and trash talking 4x.What an ass hat.@ wheels 1 love brother,Stay off the sauce and be professional.Mumbling your words now...?WTF??
It seems amazing to me, that year for year, there's a PB (and elsewhere, I believe) sh*tstorm about how crappy the commentators are, how they butcher the names, how they don't know the riders and yet.... year after year, the event organizer is keeping them on. It's as if they WANT us all to look bad because of those douchebags. Are they part of some Illuminati-style family clan and therefore impossible to get rid of...? It can't be that hard to find a few blokes who know how to hold a mic and know their sh#t! *shakes his head in disbelief* ...as for the ads, just save the entire stream your local HD and fast-forward those parts, brings the overall playing time down almost 60% ....
Listen to the pros talk about race events where the pressure is off, they're hanging with their friends, and they're here for fun. They still rip. It's still fun to watch. Speed and Style, Pump Track, Dual Slalom.
What race format have you and I, the amateur racers, been told will be fun and just like hanging with our friends? Enduro.
So not true.
I'm not saying you didn't go to XYZ Enduro and have a rad time. I suppose you did. I'm saying you didn't have this time. I sure as hell didn't have this time at my local enduro. But the industry makes these events a sort of side show, a perk for the pros. Not even trying to sell their DJ/gated racing frame or fork or tire or whatever. Sea Otter, Crankworx. Parties.
The rest of the year: back to the mines! If you're a pro, OK, go pay the bills. But all the rest of us _pay_ to race FFS.
f*ck the social media conversation bullshit...... noone wants to see that shit during a video... by the way ... the *** air dh was horrible to watch. just commercials and shit
i think everyone is just trying to tell you the commentary is crap... not just tonight, but the entire crankworx has has really shitty commentary. hopefully next year will be better.
Schooled by 20" riders. Pump track is BMX. If you want to learn how to do this well, at least put a rigid fork on so you can learn how to pump for real.
