Day 1 just finished up over at the first world cup in Maribor, Slovenia. MTBCut did up a video with a couple of the riders attending the event about the course, and their overall approach to the weekend.
Read inside for more info...The guys over at MTBCut have been working hard today to bring you a quick overview of how the Maribor track looks for the upcoming world cup. Here is some info from multiple riders.
Stay tuned for more coverage of the 2010 UCI Maribor World Cup!
Shut about with your moaning over Freecaster. You put down 4 large on a bike, spend god knows how much on running the thing and your Sam Hill lookalike TLD kit and it's like "Boo Hoo" I have to lay down $2.00 for live footage of a race on the other side of the world.....
I agree!
Matti is a fantastic rider to watch, best luck to him in the 10 UCI Worlds, I hope to see podiums from him this year.
But think of all the competition, it's like ice cream from a store, they are all so good, but which one do I want.
Best of luck to all the racers this year.
Always wear a brace
i might be wrong but i think the m9 has more travel, making it better for their more aggresive riders like Kovarik, also its possible that they just dont think the 951 suits them
They're using the new M6 Evo I believe. They're at Maribor, it's more of a plough bike track than a flickable lightweight bike track... just check out that rock garden. The team used 951s instead of Evos at Fort Bill last year, and I think Kovarik was on a 951 for Maribor in '09 too.
I think the 951s also had problems with their lower link/suspension design or something last year.
Was talking to the CRC team, specifically Matti Lehikoinen at a race in Ireland and they had just picked up an M9 proto as apposed to an M6 evo. They use the M9 because Intense are pushing it and the 951 is doing well enough. I think the M9 has a totally redesigned rear triangle and shock mounts meaning the shock moves almost in a straight line. Matti said they where better than the M6 although they couldn't clear the mud that well in the crazy conditions.
Does anyone else see the irony in paying for FREEcaster? I guess its the same for the World Mx GP's, must be owned by the same Rtarded company. I'll keep my sheckles and wait for a bootleg thank you very much.
STFU and buy a few less frappucinos....
I hope he has a good season, god knows he deserves it after what he's been through the last two
I think the 951s also had problems with their lower link/suspension design or something last year.
