Martin Söderström joins NS Bikes!
Aug 25, 2008
For some time there has been some gossip on bike forums about whether Martin is riding for NS Bikes or not. Here is the story...
Martin chose to ride on NS frames and components some time ago. It was his personal decision and the company had nothing to do with it. However after spotting their Suburban frame and other parts on his bikes, NS contacted Martin and started talking about potential co-operation. In Martin's own words, "NS Bikes was the only brand that develops in a good direction, with light and strong parts".... It took the guys some time to work out everything with Martin and.... now the news is official - Martin will be riding for NS Bikes for the next two seasons!

At the moment Martin, who comes from Sweden, is one of the best extreme riders in the world. Incredibly skilled, and versatile. No matter if you see him on dirt, street or slopestyle events... he is always one of the top riders on the track pulling insane tricks and making the crowd go crazy. But his best asset is consistency and technical proficiency.
He started great this season by taking 4th place at the Kona Whitestyle event, 2nd at Vienna Air King and finishing 8th overall at this years Nissan Qashqai Challenge after winning the qualifications in Munich.
The NS crew says that they are very proud to have such a talented rider choose their kit in the first place. Now with the more formal co-operation we can all expect to get some real benefits. The support from the company should help Martin achieve even better results and let him travel to more competitions, and for sure we will also see Martin's input in future product development.
You will able to see Martin in action in the following competitions:
Nordic Championship in Slopestyle, 4-10th August;
Polish Dirtjump Championship - 31st August;
26 Trix, Leogang, September 19th & 20th.
Martin currently rides a Suburban 26 frame, and very soon you will be able to spot a bunch of future prototypes in his bike.
Make sure not to miss his new movie made by Mats Rombald.
Martin is supported by:
NS Bikes, Peak Performance, Poc Ski, Adidas Eyewear, Tune Bikes, Cyclecomponents.se

Polish parts are the best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Martin rides slopestyle. Ofcourse he rides street but he's also a great slopestyle/dirtjumper. He enters slopestyle compitions. I would figure he would want to use a duelly but its possible on a hardtail I guess. I can understand NS for street riding though. Anyways he's an amazing rider.
he rode the Adidas slopestyle on a suburban. That course looked pretty rough but it was no problem for him

indeed sir. the video consisted of 360, dumped 360, 360 table, 360 tailwhip, 360 barspin, barspin, tailwhip. oh and manuals. good rider...only thing missing is a backflip for him to be just like every other un-original good rider. kid has skills...but boring video.
he can backflip. and he has the most variation of tricks on the streets if you've watched any of his videos.

I would say he is the most stylish rider out there.. Not the same trick book as Semenuk, McCaul or Andreu but still a great rider! And he is from Freezing Sweden!

The photograf is not Jonas Arvidsson, it´s Kenneth Einars and it´s from Hunnflen, Vansbro.

Cool vid but a bit overedited and that is the most annoying song ever.
Great for Martin though, NS are big.

http://freecaster.tv/1000006_1005516 - also check his Adidas Slopestyle 2 runs which gave him 2nd place on NS hardtail
Martin takes it all, he´s the best from the north isnt he? even better than that norway tard who is riding with Cam McCaul. Well SWE ROCKS!
it's one thing to say that Martin kicks ass, but why would you talk shit about Trond? I also thought Swe rocked, until I realized you live here...
