Monday - The story behind the film.

Monday is a video about enjoying riding that I had an idea for about a year ago. Mike Bentham and I have shot a few trials/biking videos, and in the last while he had been riding a variety of styles besides trials which is what he's mainly known for. The idea was to incorporate as many different styles of riding as we could over a couple days of shooting in the summer of 2007 and this is what came out of that. Shot in HD over a few days in the summer of 2007 and with Mike Bentham riding each bike really showcases his abilities on just about anything with 2 wheels. Downhill, Trials, Cross-country, park riding, BMX racing and just cruising.

Monday is what we all hope riding is about, fun.

This was a pretty low key, grass roots project, which involved Mike and I getting together during the summer when we both had the time and driving around the city shooting different areas that we thought would work. Sometimes our friend Joel Clark would come along and help out and sometimes it was just the two of us. It took me about 3 months to get a chance to sit down and edit the project but in the end, I'm pretty happy with the outcome, and we hope you are too.

 Such an awesome video. If you look closely, you can see he's using gold drilled trials rims on his AM/Fr bike. Friggen sweet man.

 Actually I have quite a few sets of coloured rims. But I just love Gold on my bikes.. So i have a set of try all Gold on my free ride bike, set of ligher Echo rims on my park bike and the trials bike has the new Gold try all rims. No one else runs the rims but hey I am a trials ride through and through so I had to bring it to my mountain bikes...

 That video is really what riding is about. it doesn't matter what you ride, where you ride, or when you ride, it's just that you ride. this is the first video i have seen not only on pinkbike but in general that made me sit here and just think "wow" after it was over. i wish i could get this on my iPod for when i'm on my way to ride just so it could get me all calmed down but at the same time fully stoked to ride. sorry for the long comment but that video deserves it. great job man.

 Dude brilliant idea for a video! definately a movie you could show someone that thinks your crazy for loving biking so much and just be like "Now you know why." It pretty much embodies the lifestyle in a not so "in yo face!" attitude like pretty much allll other videos seem to do.

 I'm left speechless, wow! No comment will ever do this video justice, but I'll just say that this'll inspire me to ride more often once I'm recovered from my injury, and of course will spur me on more in physiotherapy to get back riding. Fantastic video, it really captures the lifestyle of a biker. Smile

i used to like biking with my friend but all he is about is hucking of drops and shit he doesnt understand to just chill and have fun if its a small jump he is like lets go this is gay its tiny and i say no im havin fun thats all its about hes goten so annoying i cant chill with him anymore
