In the middle of a hectic downhill race season, Wigwam Holidays/Solid Bikes rider Morgan Gulland finds the time to do some filming. We lucked out on the weather this Summer in Scotland, so whilst the alps were hit with non-stop rain, we experienced some awesome dry trails. Here, Morgan rides Dunkeld and Abernyte, both a lot more treacherous in their own way should it be wet, but with the dry weather, Morgan was able to destroy the trails in his usual fashion.
Exactly what I was thinking lol.
For those wondering, we dont do gcse's in Scotland. The equivalent qualifications in Scotland are called Standard Grades. Or at least they were when I was at school, many many years ago lol.
Cool, I believe you, googled it. A few private schools in Scotland do use the English exams. I take it it's Gordonstoun you go to? I used to be in the Raf, hated Elgin! Its the only place in the world where the snow lies on the walls and not the ground!
Dunkeld had me bricking it as I walked the track b4 my 1st time down. It seemed like there were rocks every where waiting to break my bones. Ended up loving that place.
I'm sure the top riders of the BDS would enjoy the challenge that is Dunkeld. The SDA puts on a great race here every year so i think the BDS could make it work as well.
So like the Hermitage down hill track, but getting it wrong hurts a lot and has changed very little in 15years since last rode on a DH bike I have cleared a few new lines in the past At 37sec you can see a other bigger rock kicker just at back of shot that I filled in the base off but does not look like it Any way there is other better lines on that hill that are hidden, maybe I should ask SDA why that is still so?
