Mountain Sports International (MSI) is dedicated to the constant improvement and development of the Enduro Cup presented by GoPro. This commitment has most recently been illustrated with the purchase of a new Jaguar Platinum Timing System by Innovative Timing Systems (ITS). This new timing system will provide athletes the opportunity to confidently race, with real time results and placement shown at the finish of each stage. The system will make its Enduro Cup debut at the first series race of the season at the Magnificent 7 trail area in Moab, Utah on May 3rd. Registration is still open for the race on EnduroCupMTB.com.

"Our goal is to provide racers with a fun, quality event," said Event Director Ben Nelson. "By using the best technology available by Innovative Timing Systems, we can provide a more memorable and meaningful race for the athletes participating in our races."

Jaguar Timing System is the only timing system on the market that provides a beginning-to-end integration of hardware, software and timing chips. This allows for the most accurate and streamlined system available. Overhead antennas and racer tracking provide accuracy within one thousandth of a second. An internal battery and small compact case system also enable the system to be transported to the remote locations where Enduro races are often located.

Enduro participants will wear pre-programmed timing chips, allowing for more streamlined packet pickup and race day registration. To ensure the highest quality timing possible during each event, Jaguar timing staff will be on-hand with fully trained MSI event staff to answer any questions and provide a seamless event. During the event, live results will also be sent to the ITSYOURRACE smart phone app (ITSYOURRACE.com) allowing racers to check their finishing position at anytime from anyplace.

The 2014 Enduro Cup will encompass over 14,000 vertical feet of descending singletrack throughout a season including three events in Moab, UT, May 3, Sun Valley, ID, June 27-29, and Canyons Resort, UT, July 19. Enduro races challenge riders’ physical endurance and technical downhill skills making it an excellent discipline for riders of all ability levels. Registration is now open for all three events at EnduroCupMTB.com.

The Oregon Enduro Series is not only the premier enduro event in North America they have also been on the leading edge of timing technology since the inception of enduro in North America. The OES has worked very closely with Innovative Timing systems to develop the most advanced enduro specific timing system. With the development of such cutting edge systems comes a certain amount R&D and both parties have dedicated a large amount of resources to ensure that timing will not be an issue 2014. The goal from both Oregon Enduro Series and ITS is to create a memorable events with the most accurate timing available.

Well let's hope for the best, because I'm pretty sure that is the same system the Oregon Enduro series was using last season and it was a total shit show.
