Myles Rockwell stopped by the museum with master bicycle restorer, Tasshi Dennis to relive their experiences riding and restoring this complex DH machine! This bike has been donated to the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame in Fairfax, CA.

 This was a truly amazing era of the sport, we see new tech these days but it just does not carry the hype as Myles mentioned like the Volvo Cannondale team and others used to get. Cannondale should make a comeback in the DH scene produce a something like the fulcrum or the Gemini with modern materials and geometry and then sign Sam Hill

 @TheProsCloset thats an amazing idea, the idea I had (which I mentioned to Dirt and recently Pinkbike) was to put newer tech on older bikes especially suspension to see what the bikes would be like, I understand that there are somethings like BB's and Cranks but everything would be worth a look and the fact the Cannonades had a massive head tube getting a modern day 26" boxxer on it would be possible. Be interesting to do 5 runs on an old original bike and 5 runs on an older bike with modern parts and find an overall time difference if any ?

 Holy S**t! Look at that geometry and those stem/bars! I remember when that bike came out. I thought it was one of the most innovative things out. It was back in the day. Cannondale really was pushing limits of tech back in the day. The suspension linkage on that bike was very forward thinking.

 You said it flag bman33. Cannondale sure has forced the others to keep up thought mtb history. In production and racing .The old Cannondale I will truly miss.

 The geometry is still pretty standard these days apart from the bb height. 66degree head angle and 440 mm chainstays with 150mm travel.

 One of the bikes I lusted after most as a kid. That and a GT Lobo carbon. Still have a Volvo Cannondale jersey somewhere, but the Super V I bought because it was kinda like Myles' bike is long gone unfortunately.

 I have old VHS tapes of this bike in action. I also have bad knees from downhill riding on a hard tail 24 years ago. Aren't you glad we invented this stuff for you! Thats why every one of you guys on Pinkbike should donate a few bucks and buy me a new Spartan or a carbon Demo....or maybe a Segway.

 I was just reminiscing about the Kujo's The Kujo was THE tire that helped me minimize snake bites. 2.35 in the front and 2.25 rear.

 Those were the days!! breaking products and smashing bikes like that gt lobo/lts crack n dale v10 then a small company made the TMX . Brooklyn nailed it with a similar design of the can/Volvo . that whole drive system freeing up the rear wheel is were its at. (life saver many times on the trails). MTB industry exploded after 98.

 Effectively a zero degree reach stem on that (in relation to weight over the suspension). Interesting way of going about it, for sure.

 The IRC El Gato was a great tyre, but I preferred the Kujo. Still, both were bombproof, and gripped well and you gotta love the sidewall colour.

 actually it has to do with the direction and pattern of vents, soooo, i guess you're the dumbass!
