It is because of the RACJ (Régie des Alcool, des courses et des jeux). When a company organizes a promotional contests, they must report the contest to the RACJ. By doing that, they are charge an extra money.
''Under the rules issued by the RACJ the organizer mush afford a caution if the contest is open to quebecers. As frequently, to avoid paying this deposit, the organizer excludes residents of Quebec.''
Restrictive regulations are present in every province and every country, otherwise it wouldn't be 18+ in the US and Canada too. The amounts of money for such a contest range between 15 and 100$.
Guess it doesn't stop every other company (like Molson, Harley, Oakley, Norco...) from having contests here, although we have less chances of getting scammed by illegal BS contests.
because they don't want to be part of Canada they tried to separate in the 80's and some still want to so I say let em go Canada's the best everyone wants to be like us.....
Well I do believe it is entirely worth it although I too am surprised it's still being hyped. I think it's great! What an awesome movie! Arguably the best MTB movie ever!
Yes, there's a few greats like Strength in Numbers, Life Cycles and others which is why I said 'arguably' instead of declaring WTTE as the best outright.
Haha ya, having no twitter or instagram just means you actually have a life and are obviously too busy shredding outside on your bike to be bothered with stupid online drama, people, or other nonsensical shit. Screw social media. Now I'm goin outside and riding...I don't even care that it may be 10:00 and dark outside..!
Just had a screening here in Massachusetts. It was at a "community theatre". So you should check around your town theaters. Also had a list on WTTE website on where it will be screened. Or just buy it so you can watch it anytime you want.
