@mi-bike CTE is developed over thousands of impacts taken directly to the brain. While it may not be impossible, I would say that while mountain bikers are anything but safe, we can pretty much scratch that one off. If you watch the video he lands on his feet most of the time, and these are the worst in a career of biking.
Durable for sure....Just curious how you're doing physically? I'm pretty lit right now built I know my face was wincing throughout that vid. I love how creative you are and how you push yourself. Very unique style.....Keep it up!
That's not true, we are just learning the real consiquinces when it comes to trauma of any level to your brain. They are finding damaged brains in water skiers simply from years of riding choppy water, and ONE concussion is enough to permenately effect your brain negatively.
@mayha49 its about building up your muscles to support the weaker areas of the body and of course knowing how to fall which has a ton to do with it. Look up injury prevention workouts. There should be some routines out there you can do at home.
damn those are some hard hits, Amazing skills.. try to avoid these top 10, In the future and you will get gold between your teeth. Like a pirate! red bull was a amazing accident to have seen in my life. so glad you rode away that day!
Keep charging hard kid. I personally prefer seeing you landing shit, but I appreciate that you have a good attitude about the inevitable crashes that you endure. Good on ya for posting this, cheers
I remeber seeing him at the Vienna air king. He kept bombing into the ground during the best trick contest on every. Single. Jump. Every time he got up, but also every time he kept looking worse and worse off... I wonder how many concussions he has suffered in his career...
Story at my local jump spot is that he came up to a guy there and apologized profusely for tire-tapping his helmet with his back wheel... While they were both riding. Dude hadn't even noticed, and when he checked his helmet, sure enough, there was a tire mark from one side to the other. He really is a nice guy, just doesn't like tipping his hand at competitions. He's also among he first to congratulate other competitors if you look closely during events.
