Norco's 2009 line up isn't just about the big bikes for boys, they have also introduced the all new Vixa Women's Freeride bike! Developed around feed back from Norco factory rider Darcy Turenne and other lady shredders, the Vixa is here to help women push the sport on a bike that fits them right.
We can't forget about all you DJ and street riders either. Lots of refinements have been made to the hardtail line up too, so have a look at what 2009 has in store:
We can't forget about all you DJ and street riders either. Lots of refinements have been made to the hardtail line up too, so have a look at what 2009 has in store:
The Dirt/Street series of hard tail bikes is made for the Dirt Jumpers, Skate park/Urban riders, 4X/Slalom racers and even trail riders that are looking for a versatile bike able to ride the parks, DJs and trails. The whole line up sees a lot of parts color matching that gives off a real custom look to the bikes. Of all the series, it was here that fashion and function really met to create versatile, great looking rides.

For 2009 Norco has gone and created a 4 bike line up of Women specific bikes called the Forma series. While the Ari, Fae and Koshka are all XC hard tails, it's the new Vixa freeride bike that was really turning heads up in Whistler-ok so Darcy helped garner a little bit more attention to it too. The women's specific freeride bike was developed with a a ton of feedback from Darcy Turenne of the Norco Factory Team who was looking for a bike to better fit and suit her needs as a rider. The end result is the Vixa-a ladies freeride and aggressive trail bike.

The 2009 Norco bike launch in Whistler B.C. was a success on many levels. The new bikes were a hit with everyone that rode them, they look great and the whole crew put on a great show. The weather has been co-operating all season and the launch was no different. I hope that you all enjoyed all the coverage and I'll see you all next season.

Wow, these are all so sick! The 250 is so hot!
i agree no one in their right mind is going to pay 2200 for a hardtail thats just stupid you can buy a transition TOP for 1600 and its way nicer than a 4hun
its called inflaytion if thats how you spell it...... gas goes up sooo does everything else cause of that
The cost of raw matirels has increased becuase the supplie is gettting shorter and shorters as we use them all, so pirces go up to keep people working alive.
its just to much. it could be cool, but norco have taken abit to far if ask me. I guess it goes well with the shape on the frame
the colour schemes are horrible like what were they thinking with the two50 and the 4hun is just ugly, i usually like norco's but all i can ask is wtf were they thinking. norco let me down this year
to me, the team dh and the a-line look awful! but the six, shore, empire5, and dj series all look great.
Those bikes look like the engineer was drunk and rode staight into a tree at 60 klicks and hour, bent the crap out of the tubing and then gave the bike to a stoned hippy for a paint job. I don't care how good Boyko is, those are by far the fugliest bikes I have ever seen...
all bikes no matter what company will be going up in price about 25%. on average every year bikes go up about 5-10% anyways because of the new improvements and upgrades. the colour schemes look really good. they look oldschool and retro. really like all norcos new bikes. you either love them or hate them. mostly love them tough. plus i bet in reall life they look even better.
