Is it possible to live in Squamish on that kind of salary?

 Nope

@CANZ: Anything is possible! If you're happy to rent a room in a house it would be more than enough to get by on and have lots of free time to go riding. Meet a girl, split rent on an apartment with her. Life is good and you get to live in effing squamish!

It's a simple sounding wharehouse job working for a small company. It's never going to be paying 100k. Sounds ideal for someone wanting to get into the industry and doesn't mind house sharing.

You can never say no to Squmish

Not any more since the cash tsunami washed in from Van. Its washing all the low life Squamish lovers into the Howe Sound to drown. I love it here and yet I no longer have no future here

@friendlyfoe: I admire your optimism "friendlyfoe". However, Squamish has fast become "New North-West Vancouver": affordability crisis. The trails are a good escape for the impending reality that the average bike riding Joe will never be able to afford a house here, including myself.
