So $25, plus $15 for shipping, plus about $3 taxes = $43 for a frikkin t shirt?? Are you guys insane? Who pays $43 for a t shirt?? I wouldn't want to be seen wearing this shirt because I wouldn't want anyone knowing I was insane enough to spend $43 on a t shirt!
  • 22 1
@Rocky-Urban: Funny. But then your t-shirt becomes a status symbol. And it's exactly how I feel about Enve logos... well, logos in general.
  • 11 3
@kingsx: yeah but don't you think to yourself that you're being taken advantage of with prices like that? I understand liking a logo and a brand, but if that brand wants to take advantage of its fans by gouging them with ridiculously high prices for something as simple as a t shirt, I won't won't be a fan no more, simply out of principle.
  • 10 2
@Rocky-Urban: Agreed. Promotional items ought to be either free or at least less than market value. And for the record, I remove way more logos than I apply.
  • 18 1
@kingsx: wait stickers don't make you faster!?
  • 51 0
@brohatmaghandi: Stickers only make Honda Civics faster. Which is why some of them are covered with stickers. Guys in Ferrari's and GTR's never dare race a Civic with more than 10 stickers on it.
  • 4 2
Agreed, pretty stupid. I would happily buy a few if they put them on amazon prime for 20/each.
  • 2 0
+DT said he ´d increase income taxes for all products not made in US.. not gonna get any better haha
  • 7 0
should be free shipping within Canada at least.
  • 2 1
Just converted to nzd that's cheap I'm gona stock up.that would sell here for a good $50
  • 1 1
Tax and shipping are way too high. I believe $25 is a fair value of the shirt. Shipping a T-Shirt shouldn't cost that much but then again PinkBike is NOT a major retailer so they probably don't get cheaper shipping costs.

$25 + $5 S&H + $2 tax and I'd get one.

I propose a new PB logo in barely-legible Black Metal script. Upon sight, riders will throw horns as they silently pass in the night on drippy, misty, fern-choked, Cascadian trails.
  • 7 0
For a moment i thought you meant like the cover of metallica's black album! Both ideas would be great.
  • 4 0

  • 2 1
 \,,/ indeed.
  • 1 0
It would have to be Norwegian Black Metal script as it is way more bad ass.
  • 21 3
No dig no ride is a stupid thing to put on a shirt.
I've spent years trying to get in on different trails scenes - only to be told "No Dig No ride".

Often they don't want you to dig - they just don't want to share their spot.
  • 1 1
trails is as much about the people as the riding, just how it is, make ya own i guess. I'd wear these... if someone gave them to me
  • 1 0
@rabatt: No chance I'm putting one of these in your Santa sack bae!
  • 15 3
bike and pizza only ? -- > beer missing!!!
  • 21 2
The beer should already be held in your hand when wearing this shirt.
  • 2 1
 @Mattin: good one
  • 5 0
Something rare just happened, a company has apparel that I actually like! Beer

Now my question; if I'd order a shirt, lets say 25 CAD + 11CAD shipping to Europe (=€25 total), how much import tax would be charged once it arrives at my front door?
  • 2 0
Above 22€ you pay 21% in taxes.
above 150€ you pay 21% + Import tax (%depending on type of goods).

There is a change you also need to pay " afhandelingskosten" but that depends on which company does the customs.

Edit: 22€ doesnt include the shipping cost.
but if you are above 22€ your shippings costs will also be added the the amount they take the % from.
  • 2 0
@ColinD: Thanks for the info! In this case one t-shirt would convert to exactly €17,55 so no adding VAT and not import duties Smile
  • 13 5
PB has come a long way since "7 in the rear" shirts. No idea who bought those.
  • 62 2
 Your mom
  • 12 5
@Jokesterwild: not really. I actually know who it was, it was the dozens of 'freeriders' on Santa Cruz bullets, wearing body armor alone or with a sleeveless jersey, matte black helmets, roach shorts. Hits close to home doesn't it?
  • 5 1
oh, and roach 4x4 shin pads. Just the shins though... I'm pretty sure that was an outfit requirement to match the shirt, for urban drops to flat.
  • 5 1
 @atrokz: haha roasted
  • 2 0
@atrokz: Ha i have most of that stuff still, might dust of the DMR Trailstar and go do some hucks to flat.
  • 11 3
BRING BACK THE RASTA LOGO One shirt to let people know I'm into mountain bikes...and other stuff.
  • 17 8
The Rasta shit is juvenile and trashy no one cares that you smoke weed.
  • 24 4
@poozank: I see someone is busy making America great again.

and perhaps I was referring to a deep love of Reggae music, did that ever cross your mind?
  • 5 0
@BadgerBacker: 420 bro, smoke weed everyday
  • 7 0
No dig no ride.... I guess I don't get to wear this sweet tshirt then... Frown
  • 5 1
Honestly, I would have bought PB attire long ago if it had a better look...never liked any of the designs.

I know others are complaining about price, but if the designs were cool I wouldn't mind spending the extra $ to support one of the only sites I consistently frequent.
  • 2 0
 100% ^^
  • 8 3
10 new shit designs and none for women. Because of course there aren't. I forgot the only 2 shirts in a women's cut are pink and cutesy.
  • 7 0
Womens stuff is on the way @gpowell - this is just the first round of new apparel!
  • 7 1
@KimBrennan: Actually? That's pretty sweet. Also, I commented on my phone and it was supposed to say 'shirt designs' not 'shit designs'. My bad.
  • 14 0
 Haha shit designs
  • 3 2
@j-t-g: The designs are actually pretty nice, just costs way too much once you factor shipping and taxes and for those outside of Canada, import charges.
  • 2 2
@Rocky-Urban: I actually checked. To The Netherlands the costs of the t-shirt are so low that they won't calculate extra VAT over it and they will also not charge import duties. That means that one t-shirt, including shipping (and no other unexpected costs) would arrive to someone in my country for €25 total.

Also it is printed on American Apparal shirts. Only the basic shirt without the print sells for €17.95 here (www.zalando.nl/american-apparel-t-shirt-basic-grijs-aa222o000-c11.html).

Which means that for +- €7,- extra you get it with a Pinkbike print, shipped all the way from Canada.

If that's too expensive, mountain biking might be the wrong sport for you Smile

Some of them look really cool.
I would like to order, but I miss some detailed sizing information. Best would be to even provide pictures with models and their height/weight/size information.
I'm not comfortable with putting down that much money for a bunch of promotional T-Shirts including pricey intercontinental shipping and import taxes if I can't even be sure they fit.
May I suggest that you at least establish some kind of EU warehouse for your European customers? This would redeem us from paying expensive shipping cost and import taxes and would make returns much easier.
I figure that might not be too much to ask given that Europe is making up for the biggest part of your traffic already, as you mentioned before in a different article.
  • 2 0
Yes, totally agree! I really like some of the shirts, but it's far too expensive getting them to my door!
  • 6 0
I wonder the percentage of people who add an item to the cart...then jump ship when they see the total
  • 3 1
The logos are nice, but what about putting them on something that I can wear while riding my bike (read "jersey")? Who rides a mountain bike in a t-shirt? It's as if a website about surfing decided to put their logo on cashmere sweaters.
  • 1 0
I don't think surfing is a good example haha, so much more apparel in the surf/skate/snow world than in bikes.

I have so many jerseys, I'd actually prefer to have bike related apparel to wear that I liked, but the PB stuff has never spoken to me
  • 1 0
@nvranka: My point is that PinkBike does not make any jerseys, t-shirts and hoodies are all they offer.
  • 1 0
 I ride a mountain bike in a t shirt
  • 1 0
Squamish, where cougars roam the woods? And I thought it was bad enough that they're in the bars here. I can't imagine one running out from behind a tree and tackling me off my bike.
  • 1 0
I hope the qualitys improved from the charcoal number I bought a year ago, thread bust and unravelled, print on the front was pissed up and fabric had the weight of 60 denier. Frown
  • 1 0
Our shirts are American Apparel 50/50. Good quality @Earthmotherfu !
  • 1 0
@KimBrennan: ok,but why have the hems 'roped' in the sample pictures?
  • 1 0
 @KimBrennan:
Make American Apparel great again? That shit flimsy Euro (no dis) low neckline flossy wear. Give me some Anvil, Beefy-T or even Gildan HD. Things are getting too soft .

The 8 to 14 business days shipping to the UK, has anyone ordered to the UK before and was that about right? Might chuck some on the Christmas list for the family to get me..

  • 1 0
@AVann6: Lol rolled. I think they're doing onomatopoeia, "Pinkbike", "Panthers". "Yep it checks out".
  • 2 1
10 shirts and none in a ladies cut? Good job Pinkbike.

Edit: Checked the store, there is NO ladies Pinkbike apparel in print any more. 10/10 effort.
  • 1 0
**Assuming the ONE ladies' shirt in the 'On Sale' section is now considered not current
  • 1 0

  • 2 0
Can confirm, I bought an American apparel builder T shirt and it is my go to comfy shirt...
  • 2 0
@KimBrennan: Full on love my two older PB shirts printed on these American Apparel tees, to the point where I was trying to find them for sale which is more difficult than you would think.
