Mike Hopkins hails from Rossland B.C. and is a big mountain freeskier and freerider. This year he made the trip down to Utah for his first Red Bull Rampage. Tam from Newwavecine.com was also there with him to capture the event and document it for us all to see.

I was thinking about Rampage before his run started, about how mountain biking doesnt get much more extreme than Red Bull rampage and he stole the words right out of my mouth at the end of the vid!!!!! "I feel really good about the whole event and I feel that, that is mountain biking at its best." VOD all the way!!!!!!!!!!!

these guys are so progressive with their riding. His professionalism at the end of the vid was every bit as great as his riding. That's what'll keep this sport going. BIG props for representing so well on and off your bike.

Really impressed with this vid. I love getting the riders perspective, especially at an event as unique as Rampage. More videos should be made in this style for sure. Mike seems like a rad dude, I'll definately look for his name on entry lists from now on and cheer him on.
