As much as I want Gwin to win, he hasn't even seen rain in months and hasn't raced in slop all year. The realist in me says that someone from GB or Remi will take the win in the men's final. The only way that Rachel will lose is if she stops and takes some pictures along the way or decides to take a nap.
@ka-brap... Only if she takes a picture and a nap, one alone won't do it for the others to catch up. She should have enough time for one or two selfieswith the spectators on the way easily... Just imagine she would really do that...lol
@ka-brap You gotta remember the Aussie Troy B. He's a force to reckon with and he'll be on the hunt for a win tomorrow!! It'll be a battle for the top spot no doubt, but I think Troy actually has a solid chance at winning despite being in 8th after timed training. Something tells me the top 3 (Aaron, Loic, and Troy) weren't pushing as hard as they could during timed training. Should be exciting though!!
sometimes its hard for me to remember that josh has only been racing elite mens since 2011. he has so many years left on his plate and he's doing so damn well for coming off an injury last season.
yea I have to agree. She's physically the strongest rider and as much as those other girls rip, and would rip me apart, you only have to look at Rachel to see how much bigger she is. It's the same reason the men are that bit faster - sheer strength especially upper body strength that men have over women.
Chill down guys... Seeding run means they don't care and don't want to get hurt. Troy has the best finish after apparently shredding the top. Bruni said he would play smart.
seeding runs establish the order in which the riders start in the finals. There is a number of reasons why you'd want to influence your start time, among which are: weather, state of the course, mental attitude (most people want to go last)
but that presupposes that you know exactly what the weather will be like at the end vs the beginning and therefore the condition of the course. Both of which could be the opposite of what you plan them to be, and as such your planning during seeding would be negated come race day. Regardless, the person who will win tomorrow will not be phased by their start order.

Wouldn't count the Gwizard out.
