17:20 // I thought I'd go back and re-listen to what Claudio CALUORI had to say, and it's right, Claudio announced live on air that Josh Brycleand is quitting racing - "I had a discussion with him this week and er,he's actually pulling out from racing and the reason for that is because he's concerned a lot about his CO2 footprint." We'll wait until we have confirmation from Josh or his team.

14:44 // Great Britain rider Laurie GREENLAND is on fire and takes the hot seat with a time of 3:35.1, 8.5 seconds faster than Jack MOIR. It's the fastest time we've seen from this weekend so far.

14:36 // Brook MACDONALD goes sideways over the rock and crashes into the spectators - who were already up close against the track. He gets back on his bike and crosses the finish line. He's gutted.

13:32 // Organisers report that Tom BERSSELAAR has suffered no spinal injuries and no head injury, although he was clearly concussed, so I doubt the latter is strictly true. #InForTheCount

11:03 // Women's Junior riders have completed their runs, with Italian Alessia MISSIAGGIA taking the gold medal, followed by USA's Samantha KINGSHILL and France's Flora LESOIN. Looks like Frenchwoman Melanie CHAPPAZ was on a blinder of a run (second fastest through the speed trap and fastest at Splits 1 and 2 but something must have happened in the final sector as she crossed the line in eighth place, +51.829 behind the fastest in her field. Huge congratulations to Alessia on her World Champs win on home soil!
