the worst part is that for us people who build, we have to find days searching for a hidden place to start, and when were half way through have it torn down my the foresty commission, tossers.
Agreed again, you can't begin to even explain the frustration of when something like that happens. Had it happen afew times now but I think its worst when the people that are wrecking your trails are norrow-minded ignorant shit head kids (scallies). You can't even resort to physical violence to deter them because of authority. It is shit at times you just gotta look at it possative and realise you need to think harder when next decideing to build trails and atleast from building them in the first place you come away (after they have been destroyed) with more knowledge of trail building and drainage etc. (excuse the woffel but as I am sure you will appreciate this is something that is very frustrating)
dont worry man i totally understand, ive had my tracks trashed by foresty comission, chavs and gay xc pricks who smash them down cause they cant ride them its such a f*cking piss take, we have a local track (nefa powerline), which has loads of un-used area that could easily allow freeride tracks northshore and djs, but its just left there and no one else can touch it, i would make the place soo much better, but instead were forced to spend days or even weeks just looking for a spot, found one recently and have been workng on it at the terrain is awsome, lets just hope that no shitheads find this one.
Good luck with that pal, we got a new super secret spot for the summer and we got help from a certain professional trail builder who has recently moved into the area get some pics up on here when you get em done and if you don't mind I would like to take a visit in summer. Also if you didn't mind you would be able to visit our trails also BRING ON SUMMER 2010!
ha ha, you lucky git, ive just got me and 1 m8 building it so its gona take a while, but its going to get built properly, nd yh that sounds like a sweet idea , will try to get pics as soon as the snow melts as we can sstart digging again .
Its riding like this that reminds me why im getting into mountain biking, the trails in these videos are exactly what I want to ride.
Videos like this re-kindle the fire that makes me keep saving money to purchase a decent bike, and then go out and build trails of my own.
And its not only the biking that inspires me, but the filming and editing too. I would love to one day be able to make videos like this, its just plain awesome!
BRING ON SUMMER 2010!
Nice videos anyhow
