We are proud to announce that Sam Pilgrim, one of the most talented slopestyle and dirt jump riders on the planet will continue riding for NS Bikes for the 2015 and 2016 seasons.

Sam showed everyone what he's made of by winning the overall 2013 FMB World Championship title. He took it easier in the 2014 season, spending more time riding on his Fuzz DH bike and making some killer video edits.

However, he has big plans to reach out for the crown again in the coming season. Sam has become part of our family and it would be hard for us to imagine a divorce any time soon. We can also safely say that Sam feels the same about working with NS Bikes.

For 2015 he will be using the following bikes:

- NS Majesty limited edition bike for dirt jumping and slopestyle
- NS Fuzz for DH and freeride
- NS Analog for getting around town
- NS Snabb for everything else

All bikes will be equipped with NS Bikes and Octane One components, Marzocchi suspension, Continental tires and Halo Wheels.

Is he ever going to leave? I hope not. Sam Pilgrim is NS, NS is Sam Pilgrim.

Thats what people said when sodastrom was there!
  • 25 15
Yea, Söderström went to Spec, they gave him short chainstays which crushed his career like they did with EC, Hill and Gwin... or not... we will never know if these are assumptions of the dumbest people in the world or truth...

Wrong article. Go find somewhere else to grind your axe.

At any rate fuck Spec. NS shoulda kept Soder. Give Pilgrim to Spec.
  • 6 0
^they're not slaves. Ns didn't own soder. Is it possible specialized put a big offer down for Martin and simply didn't for Sam? I think it possible.

what bars was he using at rampage?
  • 10 0
not sure if sarcasm cuz they said NS in HUGE lettres, or they are bars from a different manufacturer but blacked out
  • 4 0
i think he is more of a dirt jumper than big mountain, and the bars are NS evidence i think
  • 7 0
 NS = Not Scared Wink
  • 2 0
Nah they're NS Evidence I'm sure.

Rampage probably just isn't worth it to him... It really makes no sense to sacrifice your entire career for one crazy dangerous competition that simply isn't your style of riding.
  • 7 0
@HutchJR Yeah he's not wrong for missing rampage. Rampage has naff prize money for what is probably double the chance of death in comparison to other events, it's all fun and games until someone falls down one of the canyons, he obviously realizes his life/ability to walk is more important than Rampage glory, fair play to him!

Thought Rampage was pretty naff overall this year, Storch's first time (?) at Rampage and he throws some fat backflip on the knife edge and it lands him in last place if I remember... :L
  • 2 0
Yea I was stoked on storch's run

If Sam Pilgrim wasn't with NS. Who would he be with. There are not many bike manufacturers that fit that sort of vibe and I can only see him riding bikes like NS
