Fixed gear bikes, you can love them or hate them. Personally, at first I was adverse to this kind of cycling culture. I thought it was a funny bike polo game for snob kids in turtle necks from New York city, so lame and not interesting. Hipsters and roadies... I had seen riders doing some easy tricks, but they looked rather awkward, and pedaling non-stop, that's just silly... Then, one day I had a chance to have a quick ride on one of these bikes and I fell in love, instantly. Since then I've started digging deeper and found how amazing, wide, and fresh the fixed gear culture is! - Lunatyk |

"yeah, but you've probably never heard of that before"
Riding a fixed gear is truly fun though, just dont let your friends see.

You're going down a dark path my friend , which you may not return.
sure theyre harder to do good tricks on and that can be a little impressive but when you have to hop and skid to get your cranks in the right position for a bunnyhop over a curb its just not that great.
also 700c's and low bottom brackets are garbage
but yeah, most "fixie" companies are marketing ploys. even walmart sells cheap ones now.
