Awesome weekend and good footage, but I wish there was more than just one shot of a female riding through a berm. There was a pretty good showing of Canadian and American girls out there and it'd be great to show that it is possible for everyday girls to race BC Cups too!

To get me pumped up to ride, I don't care if it's footage of men or women either, for sure! My point was that a lot of times if you tell a girl that you race, she thinks that you have to be a professional rider or that the course is too hard for herself to ever try. It's not...everyone can race and dh racing is something that we need to promote, especially to women. And for total transparency, I am a female and I actually won the citizen's 19+ category at Silverstar. It was the largest showing I've ever seen of girls in my category and it's so much better than an automatic podium due to only 3 riders showing up.

To be honest I kind of blew it on shooting women at Silver Star, I'm still stoked on the video, but I would've loved to have more shots of girls ripping! Hopefully I get some more female clips this weekend at Kicking Horse. Glad you enjoyed the video though, and I appreciate the criticism.
