This past weekend was a showcase of the raw and awesome talent level of the riders in BC & Alberta. Our bronze level FMB event ran Friday and Saturday at the bike park and spectators were treated to an incredibly high level of riding. If you were here you bore witness to such tricks as Matt Dennis' 720 on the step up or Tom Van Steenbergen's front flip off of the log drop at the top of the course. All and all it was an awesome weekend of riding bikes here at Silver Star, despite the warm weather.

Thanks to all who participated and came out to watch this fine spectacle of talent. Huge 'thank you' goes to our sponsors who make events like this possible with their support: Fox, RockStar, MyPakage, Maxxis, X-Fusion, Rhino Racks, Oakley and Vernon Toyota. Silver Star handed out more than $10,000 in cash and prizing throughout the weekend's events including the Rhino Rack Pump Track Rumble, AJ Clearly Memorial Chainless Race and the Silver Style Slopestyle. Brett Tippie was out all weekend making sure everyone had fun at the slopestyle and also hosting a full guys camp on the Sunday.

This coming weekend is another busy one at Silver Star with the BC & NW Cup going on. So come on out, we just opened 3.5 new kilometers of fresh XC trail too. Silver Star Bike Park is open full time until September 1 and then has bonus weekends September 6/7 & 13/14. With Extended Play every Wednesday and Friday night.

Enjoy the ride this summer.

 > The tricks at Silver Star's Bronze level FMB event would have won Crankworx a few short years ago.

Hell, the tricks at most local dirt jump spots every day would have won Crankworx a few short years ago.

Good to hear some old tunes on edits like this. Much better than the modern electronic crap. Negative prop away, I do not care.

Massive let down. Weak course, judging, and event organization.

AHHHHH! Awesome! I'm jelly. I'm like a big ole bowl O' Jello over here.'

You're still living the dream, man!

Perhaps my company will have to make a generous donation to the hill, so I can get an event named after me. Big Grin
