gwin posted a vid on IG of him riding spec just a couple days ago. he commented saying how he basically wasn't switching teams. not sure how this YT thing got started. I doubt they have the funds to steal away gwin anyway.
Turns out i may be wrong saying that YT cant steal him away.... its starting to look like he may be on YT next year. cam zink even tweeted saying "wonder what team gwin will be on next year....."
That was the best show I have watched in months. Sorry to hear about the heart problems and I prey it will not effect his future results.
Massive respect to Minnaar.
I wonder if Greg has Afib or SVT. Hopefully it doesn't limit his enjoyment of bikes too much. I got diagnosed with SVT, which is a type of afib, and it's definitely manageable for younger folks. Cheers to Minnaar for being such a classy inspiring figure in biking. Who would love to see a final hurrah season of This is Peaty showing the Syndicate crew living it up for Peaty's last season? My fingers are crossed.
Damn that sucks to hear he had an afib episode. Hopefully cutting out some of what the doctor told him to cut helps. I had an episode earlier this year (not afib but heart beating out of order) and cutting caffeine and energy drinks out seemed to have helped and have been solid since.
Did they cardiovert him after his episode of atrial fibrillation or is he now having to take a betablocker? Sotalol daily would be tragic and a betablocker would limit him being able to get his heart rate up. I hope they were able to get him back into sinus rhythm so he can get a few more wins and push that total wins title further away from other competitors.
You're talking about a guy who used to do heel clickers while dirt jumping in order to warm up before racing his bike up to 80 km/h on gnarly trails.I think he can handle a ride around the block, it's his prerogative if he wants to wear a helmet.
Looks like he has sprayed it on, looks like action mans hair
