Untitled and Boring! - Spectrum Tech Wear's Video is here for you to enjoy.

Mar 18, 2008

After years of controversy over an emerging new riding style, we show off the stoke of 3 North Carolina boys (featuring Brad Walton, Javier Vega, and Keland Hawkes) finally arriving in their version of mountain bike paradise. There's really nothing like the Great Pacific Gnarthwest, or atleast we have no reason to believe the contrary. We're all about riding whatever the best trails have to offer, whether man-made bridges, big cliff drops and gap jumps, or au-naturale rock chutes. The popularity of freeriding in the Northwest has led to an abundance of highly skilled athletes and advanced trail building techniques that offer unique features on the trails that are considered some of the most difficult in the world. We're stoked to be able to show some of these trails as they'll never be seen in person, and as ridden by bros, not pros! Our camera man/movie editor shows you the area through his freshly opened out-west eyes, offering the unique perspective and detail of an outsider first arriving to the scene.

Enjoy the video!

In this video, sponsored by Spectrum Techwear, we session some of the more elite gems of the area including the trails of Mt. Fromme and the Woodlot in Brititsh Columbia, Canada; Galbraith Mtn, North Cascades, and Snoqualmie in Washington, USA; and we sample some of that Dirty South Flava from our old country roots of Wilson's Creek, North Carolina, USA. Appearances by Mike Metzger, Kendall Isenhour, Brandon Ward, Josh Stowell + many friends from along the way. DVD will be available shortly in HD video and will offer 25 minutes of additional bonus footage, including an extensive 2007 photo gallery. Film by Jim Tarlton, BadHabitProductions. Produced by Spectrum Techwear. Copyright 2008.

Based out of Bellingham, Washington, Spectrum Techwear is a rider-owned and operated mountain bike apparel outfitter with a focus on Fit, Function, and Style.

These guys aren't Canadian. Brad Walton, the owner of Spectrum Tech Wear is from North Carolina. Here's what an N.C. local who knows him had to say about him:

"mad fitness, mad skills……rides shit in BC that the pro boys are scared of….no pads…just a skid lid. Humble and kind fellow."

So this Woody Keen character - do you guys have problems with local trailbuilding "authorities" in NC like we do here in WA? They think they mean well, but at least here they end up ruining what we had. They're currently trying to ruin a trail that we have out near Mt. Baker, and nobody knows why they even feel that they should exert their influence where it's not wanted. Same thing with Woody?

yes, stay away from that guy and anyone who associates themselves with him if you want to keep your trails from being paved
