I'm sitting at work and all I want to do today is watch qualifiers. Wish it was streaming. So excited for Rampage this year. Most excited I've ever been for an event.

 Bourdo representing the Old Guard!
  • 6 0
Seriously stoked to see Rogatkin go ham on his line... Dude's an animal on the bike.
  • 1 1
I think its guaranteed that his line will be the most slopestyle influenced line on the mountain. It will be nice contrast to the big mountain style.
  • 3 0
Ehhh I hope he does well and all but this is a big mountain event not a slope style event.
  • 6 0
How many spots are open for the 25 guys?
  • 6 1
Yeah Mitch! Represent SLC! Get it!
  • 3 0
Jesus, I need to see the pre-quali list again if those are the names that have to do a run
  • 2 0
To clear this up for people who seem incapable of getting the message: if you feel they really should be on the list, and they're not, they prequalified. That is all.
  • 4 4
So these guys put it ALL on the line to qualify - down the run they've spent a week building. Then they qualify but put down the same amazing run in the finals. But the judges have already seen that run so the riders are already disadvantaged compared to the guys already qualified - because the judges will get to see new runs. Too bad. Hopefully will be changed for the following years.
  • 4 0
I don't think they will get marked down for hitting the same line on two different days.
  • 5 1
not marked down but they won't get that wow factor the qualifiers will get. (read the Wade Simmons interview)
  • 4 0
True , hopefully the judges will see it from a fresh mind set and judge accordingly
  • 1 0
In the past they have used a lower start area for qualifiers. But I guess they aren't this year.
  • 4 1
Imagine throwing yourself off 70 foot cliffs and riding ridge lines and steeps that one wrong move WILL kill you, finishing alive but your heart is about to explode.... and then having to do it all again?? (but better)
  • 1 0
Last years guys like Aggy who have take the qualy win have two differents run. It's wa pretty insane, but yes I think this year they will send the same run with bigger tricks probably
  • 3 0
 at the moment:
1: Rheeder
2: Tom Van Steenbergen
3: Godziek
4: Norb

Shit no Aggy, hopkins or doerfling ...
  • 3 0
and Godziek did flip over canyon gap...
  • 1 0
 any update?
  • 3 0
Go Hopkins! Heres to a successful redemption!
  • 1 0
Is there a separate start area for qualifiers and finals like in past years? I know previously the finals start area was higher up.
  • 2 0
Since 2012 (I think), they all start from the same place (the top)
  • 3 0
how many from this 25 qualify for finals?
  • 3 0
 Vink?
  • 2 0
Won't be riding, broke his nose and had a concussion I heard, crashed on the big Lacondeguy/Aggy drop (I think)
  • 2 0
 damn.........
  • 2 0
Damn, that sucks. I was hoping to see him put in a good run. Heeling vibes and all that....
  • 2 0
 Where's the pre-qualified list?
  • 2 0
Is nico vink too injured too qualify?
  • 3 0
 Where's Howey?
  • 2 0

  • 1 0
 I have the same question.
  • 2 0
Anybody know about Darren Berrecloth why he's not in?
  • 2 0
 jacked shoulder
  • 1 0
Gutted Gee isn't in this year
  • 3 0
I think Gee is done with Rampage. I think he knows he doesn't really have a chance of winning anymore due to the fact that tricks are now required to podium. He's not a trickster.
  • 1 1
Seems a shame, Gees run from 2010 was one of my favourites ever. Imagine it's a big risk of getting hurt if you're a racer as well, Fairclough isn't much of a trickster either to be fair.
  • 1 0
Yea.. if he gets injured, he loses the season and his other sponsors might have a problem with this.
  • 1 1
They should use the old site for qualifications it's only on the other side of the hill and would be the fairest option!
  • 2 1
Yeah but then they will spend all this time building and learning their new lines and then have to go and hit the old site.
  • 1 0
That is a good point, it seems to me then the fact is there is no perfect answer and the way it is, is probably the best of what they can work with.
  • 2 1
also, anyone live tweeting this thing today?
  • 2 0
looks like @redbullbike is live tweeting it.
