STUND Episode 5 - Watch Now!

The final installment of STUND Season 2. It's been a great ride and I hope you all enjoyed watching the show. I know us boys had a blast making it. Getting out there, funding our own project, picking our favorite spots and having a rider owned production is what it's all about. It is allot to take on for Mike and myself in a summer as we still film with the biggest movies, compete in the big mountain comps and run a full time Pro rider contract. STUND comes from our own hard work and sweat with a target to hit as many viewers as we can from all over the world.

We do this by offering it for free! From the riders for the riders.



Episode 5 is what it's all about and the reward from the project. The other 4 episodes are the buildup and following to the making of this episode. "Best of the Summer" The format changes from a day to day following of the tour and riders to the classic mountain bike sections you are used to when buying a DVD.

 Top notch, again. Love these. By the way, if your looking for an almost 40, fat, arthritic and only semi capable rider for season 3 LET ME KNOW! I am so ready to live my dream! (As long as I don't have to work too hard, try anything "Dangerous" and I get to attend the partys where the HOT girls are, thats it.) Good Job Boys, makin us Canuckleheads Proud.

 Vics 26... Nice feedback... Love it. We actually had this idea for season 2... But the free Mopngoose dh bike we had lined up for the winner to come ride on the show for one episode ended up getting sold for extra music licensing cash...The rider would get to keep the bike in the end as well... We would have some build up before stund ever releases holding this online pinkbike.com video submission comp. Great idea for next year to give another rider a chance in the limelight to see what they can do!

 much respect to the stund crew. definately make another season happen!!! these videos have helped me keep my sanity (laid out with a broken collar bone, 1 plate, 8 screws), reminded me how much fun BC was, and at the same time got me super pumped to get back out and ride.

 stund is a awesome series that shows off my favourite kind of riding! i really appreciate you putting this together and streaming it for free. i look forward to another season of the same. season 2 was a little better edited than 1, can't wait to see what season 3 looks like, if you are able to pull it together.

 Kinrade, I'm surprised that you didn't throw in some of the stunts you built in Nelson!!
I would personally like to see some NEW spots that get the mouth watering (random town, BC, France, Switzerland, Alaska, etc). Great series, really stoked my GF and I out every weekend!!

 Great feedback... We already had europe tour in the back of our head. Probably involving Chatel and France... Just need to drum up the funding from our sponsors. Costs will obviously go up! East coast and diablo or highland is some great ideas to... Keep it up.

The best thing is, that Stund is for free.
The Collective and Freeride Entertainment should watch your stuff and learn how to do it.

 I think a stop at Northstar at Tahoe might be worth doing! 11 million bucks in bike park upgrades a few back. Definitely the mainstream hotspot in Nor Cal though. Only thing we do ask is let us nor callers know if and when you will. We will be sure to get a good showing in support of you guys! Might even have to drive up there with a brewery fresh keg of Sierra or Bud for ya guys Big Grin

 you guys are forgetting this is low budget so I doubt Europe or Australia will be a go unless they start charging for the vids. Think about how much it would cost to fly multiple people, bikes, eating, lodging, vehicles, etc. Your looking at mega bucks.

 Great stuff!!!! I watched all 5 episodes and cant wait for another season. One thing that I would quite like to see more of would be helmet cam footage. A euro trip would be awesome as well but we understand that this is free and travelling is a large part of your budget I guess.

 I think the advestising that your sponsers are getting from this show is priceless, I really hope that thay can back you guys up with a solid season 3. Awesome to see BIG MOUNTAIN riding again.
I was thinking for Season 3, perhaps you could partner up with Pinkbike and have a something similar to the old Race Face ( Ultimate Freeride Challenge contest ) where riders submit a 60 second video clip to you guys for judging and then the winners clip gets played during one of your episodes, or perhaps that person gets to come ride with you guys ( funding permitted ). This would also allow your sponsers to get thier names out there and perhaps allow prizes for some of the clips or even have categories like Best Line, Best Air, Most Creative Stunt, Breakout Performance by a Grom (13 and under),Worst Crash...etc. Plus this gets the pinkbike users involved and talking about the show.

 stund 2 was great. the only HD video I can actually watch w/out my computer stuttering. Some friends of mine purchased a mongoose pinn'r and transition bottle rocket because the stund videos showed the bikes in action. I'm thinking of the scott voltage as a personal christmas gift. Hope you can bring back another season. Here's to no injuries.

 first, best web show ive ever seen!! loved season 2, and stoked for season 3. You guys should come to the Comox Valley. Theres Mt washington bike park(where they filmed for whats next), and also forbidden Plateau and Cumberland. Cumberlands got a sick downhill trail and forbidden has lots of opportunities for building and riding.

 ideas eh? well, heres my two cents worth: spend the winter filming useless information (romo bike build, imba connections,bike factory tour-- [i guess you kind of did that already at transition],seeing a nice line and building it up step by step with commentary,etc...) and throw it on the bonus material for your dvd. people (and sponsors) love that shit.

 Wow you guys are pumping out AWSOME videos! I see allot of hard work behind them. Props for the dedication!

For season 3: You guys should really ride the east coast (highland, diablo, and Bromont, Mont Saint-Anne) Especially Bromont they have sick trails and i'd imagine it would be allot cheaper then going to Europe. Then you could focus on the quality of the video since you have more money! And the video contest idea sounds like a great idea! I think east coast would be something to look at.

Anyway cant wait for season 3 and KEEP UP the good work!

 i don't know. i liked last season better because of more guest riders and sweeter trails. it would be cool to see more of the massive gaps to. season `1 was better. there were more tricks gaps speeed. it was just better stuff. same with locations. was way better in season 1

 Haha, do you honestly think the likes of Romo and Co are gonna want to hit glentress? Look how shot down my VOD the other day got because tress trails and jumps are so shitty! And IMO Ft Bill isn't really their thing. Big Mountain and true freeride is where its at for these guys; unfortunatly that kind of riding just doesnt exist in the UK Frown

 ah yes but hv u been to hamilton hill? it has THE biggest wall ride in the world at 104 ft which is pretty kewl its not so good in the wet tho Razz bt we need a whistler in the uk!!!!!!!!

 I'm just more fond of the left one I guess. And I tend to get injured in the right one more when I riding so I figure it would be fore the best. But then Again if they took the right I would just have a middle nut.....
