i wish i could go there. i went to woodward but that was ok. i want whistler!!!
i think the riders at woodward are a lot better than the ones at sgc but i guess it matters what type of riding you do
dude seriously look up some of those names, dave watson, cam mccaul. those are the guys that are sending it in films like NWD8, by the way where is woodward?
woodward has camps all over the US, California, NY, etc.
there are 3 woodward camps in the us. one in PA. one in CA and one in WI.
Those prices are pretty high, holy smokes that's expensive for 8 days.
i bet its worth it though! i might go. i dont know i have summer trip to winterpark in colorado for a week and its one or the other.
Its pricy, but think bout it this way.. one day at whistler without a bike or a pass and a place to stay costs close to 200-300 bucks..
If your spending $200-300 for 24 hours in whistler, you need to call around for better accomidations or drink less.
sic vid love the backflip heelclicker
an 8 day camp with accomadation a bike and alot of other stuff is aroun $2000. so you kinda have to be a little rich to go there
$2000 for 8 days is cheap for that level of training.
there is only one thing to say..... Canadians you are the luckiest nation in the history of riding ! {} :}
Whats the name on the song ? Send a message in my inbox please?
I hate brazil because here not have these f*** s*** camps !!!
sooo fun.i went last year haha im goin again this year i get a sick camel back!!
The summer gravity camp was well worth my money, best week of my life. Ride all day with the pros, whichis like best in the world, I learned so much in that week. Ripping trail from 10 to 5oc in the evening. Free shoes, free jersey. Really good breakfest and dinner. The x-box was deadly as well. It's like a person couldn't ask for anymore. I'm deffently going up agine this summer the week before crankworxs. Like I'm the guy won who won the fork in the last picture, that ever made my week there better yet:p
I can't wait to go back up agine.
I can't wait to go back up agine.
why did you win the fork? most improved, best trick in foam pit?
That's Andrew alright. Nice dude! Got your mug in a pink bike article and all.
Congrats on the Transition sponsorship Andrew!!!
Congrats on the Transition sponsorship Andrew!!!
even though hes a bmxer i really badly wanna try daniel dhers "nipple twister" into the foampit. its like a backflip 720 turndown. oh ya i really wanna go there. i wanted to go when i was 9 when the camp first started.
the majority of the prizes are picked out of a hat at random, including the fork, so everyone gets a fair chance.
i'm goin to the first camp of the summer! whooo, can't wait!
I have gone to this camp, it is so worth the money, it is seriously one of the most awsome things i have done, the coaches are the shit. and you get hella tight stuff at the end of the week. If you have the money, you should def sign up for it.
Im in one of the pics, the one with all of the kids chilling on the grass, it was when they were handing out hella free shit.

i went acouple years back and it has been the high lite if my mountain biking life! just amazing! yes expensive , but well worth saving up to do it once. i had so much fun riding with schwartz, shandro, morland etc. do it! you wont want to come home!
i get to go to Whistler for graduating, but not to this camp... its all good tho
Thats Awsome!!.. they need to do stuff like this in the UK theres hardly anything.!
^^^^ yeah if it's something like that in the UK i'd be there for sure and it's allot closer to travel than to Canada.
looks sooooooooooooooo much fun
i live liek three hours away and ive never been. it sucks. hell ive never been to my local mountain cuz my parents dont bike and nobody i know goes.
im most likly going this summer for my 8th grade grad. anyways i was planning on going since a yer or so ago and my dad just siad il make it your grad present. somebody wann tell me the layout and how i would do cause im liek an intermideate rider and dont konw many tricks but i can ride downhill but im still perfecting drops and big jmups

im deffintly goin there when im older
MOUNTAIN BIKE HEAVEN!!!!! thats priceless!!
wohooo, check the htread on this if your coming, im going, cant wait!!!
Dig it.... so think of the cost this way guys..... you ride in your hometown for a full season.... say you go from level "2" riding to level "3" in a season without any kind of training....... for the most part right..? So then look at it this way.... so you start your season this year riding at a per-say level "2".. ride for 3/-4 months.. then go and take this course.... then ride for the rest for the season and end the season on a level " 8 "....... great instructors, great playground, and the foam pit can't be beat...... indispensable training for anyone that wants to step it up..... not a chance in hell you're going home without learning a tonn....
I hella wnt to go there but its damn expensive
i know what i want as a graduation present!
if i can use my dads air miles to get there im going haha
PURE SICKKKKKK CCR ROCKSS
do the coaches stick around for the adult camp too?
I've seen this camp and the campers have a blast. I'm a bit older (43) and have 'responsibilities' (family) so a week is a bit of a stretch. I have attended Richey Schley's 2-day camp at Whistler the week after Crankworx, with Wade as one of the instructors. Amazing how much one can learn riding with these giants of the Freeride world. Focus is on riding better, not necessarily focused solely on big air and the like, but cornering, flow and comfort anywhere on any mountain.
Don't get me wrong, I'd be all over the opportunity to ride with Shandro! The Schley camp is a different pricepiont, and the focus for the adult camp is more about developing the full range of skills. The link to last year's schedule is at http://www.whistlerbike.com/camps-lessons/camps/richie-schley/index.htm

The guys that are listed on their website like Cam mcaul and Thomas Vanderham will do 1-2 runs with you the people who will be coaching you most of the time are just whistler bike park guides
Not true - last year Shandro, Joe Schwartz, Jordi Lunn, Tyler Morland, and Katrina Strand were full-time coaches. They took groups up for the full day, every day. Other coaches came and went, but they are not just there to make an appearance and sign a t-shirt, they are there to coach!
$2000 dat works owt abwt £1000, but think of the free stuff u gt
maybe a pair of fox forks n shimano saints n shimano cranks
u cld almost make ur money bk sellin those
