2016 Superenduro Canazei, Round Three - Saturday Practice

It’s the day before the race here in Canazei for the Superenduro, Italian Enduro Series. The final changes have now been made to the trails and riders are scoping them out one last time and for some the first time. The trails took a hammering from the rain in the night, but everything dried out pretty well… almost everything. The bottom of stage three turned into a bit of a stream, but apart from that, everything was pretty dry. The weather just about held off all day today, but there were a few reports of very localised rain on different parts of the stages.

The afternoon finished with the riders briefing which was followed by a stage five track walk through town, with so many people on the track it was pretty hard to see any hazards but everyone got a feel for the track.

It follows this ridgeline.

 Hey BenWinder..-
The term 'Braaap' comes from mimicking the sound a 2-stroke(mx bike) makes when being throttled.
The rider you mis-applied that term to was breaaaaaaking to the point of locking up his rear.
On a side note, when I see somebody with two fricken broken arms, the first thing that pops into my head is,
how the heck does dude wipe his a$$?
I broke my ass-wiping arm earlier in the year and THAT was a major PITA for me.
I feel horrible for that dude.
And am I seeing things, or is he sporting 1970s-vintage plaster of paris casts?
