"The other 50% is mental. Nobody can do it for you. Mountain biking teaches me to take the reins of my own life, make decisions, and commit to them. You have to commit to lay off the brakes and do it."
Great video. But, disheartening for me... she said she didn't start biking till 18. I always blamed my averageness on the fact that I didn't start till late. Haha. Now, I have no excuses. Ok, going out tomorrow and gonna ride harder. Thanks. Stoked now.
I just checked out the website oztrailsnwa.com. The groups that have advocated for increased MTB tourism, trail building, access, and the marketing have done a stellar job. That's about as slick as it gets.
I live in Western North Carolina with insane trails that speak for themselves. Tourism is a big economic driver for us as well.
Northwest Arkansas, you are speaking to our mountain biking hearts! Such a powerful mix of story, stoke, and artistry. I'm coming in December and I'm ready to be convinced our family should move there. And my business too!
Hey @GTrippa3 I'm heading across the country in a few weeks and plan on riding in the area. Any tips on trails to check out or the trail featured would be greatly appreciated.

@sanjuanjabronni: The amount of trail here is unreal. IMBA World Summit this week and Bike Mag just wrapped up the Bible testing here. Stop into one of the Phat Tire Bike Shops and we can point you toward whatever kind of riding you want to do. And probably get somebody to go out for a rip with you.
@sanjuanjabronni: we now easily have 100+ miles of killer trail within 30 minutes of downtown bentonville. If you get the chance check out blowing springs/ the back 40/ Coler/ and the railyard.. if you need a trail map send me a pm.
Outstanding! I really appreciate Tandie's energy and riding style! Never knew there were trails in NW Arkansas, my lady and I will have to add it to our list!
