Time To Get Moist - Video

Nov 24, 2015
by Pinkbike Staff

Its time to enter the weird and sometimes wonderful world of the one-and-only Ed Oxley - After the surreal success of The Chop and the Vain Vagrant, Ed Oxley returns with a serious documentary about going on a mountain bike adventure with a group of women. Shot in a storm lashed English Lake District you can expect rain, hike-a-biking and the women to come out on top.

Once again Tim Royle risked another camera insurance claim by braving the elements to make this film. Thanks to our friends from go-where.co.uk for being fine lassies and the other bearded guy for making up the numbers.

Never seen any of his other stuff but that was quite funny once you realised that any verbals was just to take the piss out of everyone, himself included.

That was terrific. Done that exact ride aswell a few times, except we go all the way upto helvelyn and down the main route that way, dont know how far they went. also gone upto the top of helvelyn and gone back down the way they did Its very different every year due to how much the water changes the path, rockier and rockier every time. quite exposed on the right aswell, especially near that waterfall bike. typical british weather ey. never been there when it hasnt rained

not bad riding considering most of the bikes suspension hardly moved more than 100mm ... perhaps a bike setup session might have been an idea lol

Ed Oxley is a great guy. His videos have a surreal edge but in real life he's really chilled and down to earth. A great rider and instructor as well.
