The final day of this year’s USA Cycling National Championships at Mammoth Mountain held the Enduro race. USA Cycling Nationals draws riders from all over the country in order to compete for the stars-and-stripes jerseys awarded for each race. Before Mammoth Mountain cleared out on Sunday, Enduro racers headed up the hill to begin four stages of racing.

Each stage of the Enduro race ended at the Canyon Lodge, while they began throughout Mammoth Mountain. The course distance ranged between 1.5 to nearly 5 miles, the shortest being Stage 1 and the longest being Stage 3. Racers battled for the national title on the rough stages throughout a long day of racing before leaving Mammoth until next year.

@DaRanger: What's wrong with the USAC races? (genuine question here)
  • 4 0
@bridgermurray: in an effort to save time, I'll just tell you what's right with USAC.

Nothing.

Rude probably didn't want to get fined $20 for pissing in the woods when the other option was putting another EWS gold in his trophy case.

@maxyedor: nobody should race USAC races. They'll yell at you and tell you "you screw up everything!" -vital reference. $215 for a pro license annual? What does that money even go to? I'd rather spend that money on some tires and go shred for fun or at the real enduro events

Is it just me, or is the women's podium just Mitch Ropelato again?
