Qualifying just ended here in Italy for the Val Di Sole World Cup. Gee Atherton (GBR) and Emmeline Ragot (FRA) took top honours.

Check out some quick shots inside from the day.

Joe Smith gets some in his qualifying run.

Matti Lehikoinen goes down hard in practice. He knocked himself out lower down the track on this same run, just before qualies.

Nathan Rankin got a flat and still managed a 60th. Maybe this week the Rankin of old will show up?

Yep, when the sun goes in, the woods get this dark.

What a day! It looks like Greg had a rough time on the course in both practice and qualifying, thereby giving up valuable points to Gee towards the overall. We all know that Atherton is strong on this track and he must surely have those rainbow stripe memories at the forefront of his mind. Certainly a bit of a mixed bag for weather throughout practice and quali's, but it is looking to be sunny and dry for the big show. Make your predictions below!

Gee quali'd first on purpose, he wants to get as many points possible and cant do that with minaar taking the 50 quali points all the time. He's really gonna pin it.
