The warm up for the first round of the Enduro World Series last weekend was held in La Parva, Chile at the first round of the National Chilean Series: The Santa Cruz Montenbaik Enduro by MTBLab.
Quite a few pro riders that were going to race the EWS came a week earlier to try the infamous Chilean Anti-Grip, over 3000 meters in three Special Stages that were completed in almost 20 minutes.
To complete these 20 minutes of Special Stages the riders had to ride their bikes for more that 5 hours! The Liaisons were also assisted by a lift but they still had to pedal almost 30km to finish the race.
Anne Caroline Chausson was on the big names that came to the race.
Chilean National Champ Nico Prudencio was the fastest Chilean in 9th place after the French army.
Fabien Barel is holding out on sharing his bikes suspension secrets. He finished 5th.
Mr. Enduro and World Champion Jerome Clementz took the win in front of Nico Lau.
