I feel like the pressure is always on Danny Hart for the muddy courses. Danny Hart be like, "Guys, that was literally one race. You don't have to bring it up every time there's mud on a course!"
The commentators were saying his run was "disappointing" and i just wanted to yell at them, yes he won a big race on a really muddy course, that's not to say that he will win every single race on mud, Its like they expect some ridiculous huck that no one else will try just because of worlds in 2009
huge props to manon! she knew she could play it safe or go for the win with that last jump. so proud to see her go for it even if it didn't work out. thats what separates champions from the rest of the field.
Minaar trying to hold it together with a straight face in that last interview, after having necked a few beers and half a bottle of champagne. Brilliant.
Gwin must have been secretly running a non-specialized frame again because there's no way a demo, with such a low main pivot could be fast or not crash.
They now have 17 wins each. That's unbelievable considering how long they have both been at it. I work that out as more or less one a year (?) and last year at PMB Minaar had his worst result he'd ever had there and he was still on the podium. I can't believe people counted him out for another win. I'll admit I didn't expect it to be at fort bill but as long as we have PMB, minaar is in for a solid chance of winning.
then I just show her a scar...
