Pinkbike make this list, I just crunch numbers and put it all together, this list has nothing to do with my personal fav's. anyway Art is subjective and These shorts are art.
Mountain-Goat: Come ride with me didn't get first place because it isn't a serious film.
Sure, it may have some good riding, but nowhere near the style of Hangaren Indoor Edit.
Compared to each other, Come Ride With Me sucks balls.

Come Ride with Me is funny, why does a film have to be serious? I way preferred it. Rather than some indoor skatepark action.

The video with the least number of Fav's, views and comments wins, how does that work?
The Brenderoni's video in 2nd place is sick, biggest jumps, biggest crashes, hucks, front flips and over 10000 more views than the number 1!

It's a not a perfect system but the idea behind the ratio is this.... for example, you may have some dumb internet clip that gets a 20,000 views but it's just that, something neat to watch and funny but it's not something that a user faves. This clip should not be number 1 just beacause it has the most views. It's the faves that really dictate the "goodness" of the clip.
Also so a clip with a higher percentage of faves compared to another should be "better", no matter how many views they have. That is, a clip with 10,000 views and 10,000 faves is probably a lot better than a clip with 20,000 views and 10,000 faves. Sure not as many people saw it...yet, but those who saw it thought it was awesome enough to fav.

I think the acronym is a bit dodgy VOM just reminds me of the word vomit haha cool idea though. I'd love to see one of my videos on the list some time soon

When i watched the VOD that got number one a few days ago, i thought it was sooo sik! Riding in it is awesome too 
why is benderoni part not first although he has most views and faves? don't get it...in anycase I thought the one who won should have wone so ok...
The other videos are awesome but Come Ride With Me made me crack a smile from ear to ear... something priceless to a passionate rider stuck at home recovering from a broken leg!!! Gets my vote for VOM!!
any trick or line that has more than one barspin in it should be considered toast.. this goes for a twenty, should go for a 26 too

Are you guys aware of the Vital Video of the Month contest? They put up $250 US and a full Pro-Tec setup for the best vid each month. Check it out.
All 5 videos were awesome. Some of the best I have seen on pinkbike. But why were they all the same? Some diversity please next month..
I agree with you man, all the vids were incredible riding that I can't match but it would have been nice to not have 3 park vids and a little more diversity. Problem is its all based on the complicated formula of #of views/ #of favs...
No, the formula has nothing to do with it, its what video's were popular by the numbers. Its not complicated, its straight forward and is the best way I have found of doing it.
Division is complicated to some people man! haha

As a videos views increase its uniqueness lessens so fewer people favorite it. In tern the ratio that is used to calculate the video's success (which I do still believe is the fairest way of doing it) reduces. Interesting now that the videos, having been watched a heap more, have switched order;
- 5th remains in 5th
- 1st drops back to 4th
- 3rd remains in 3rd
- 2nd also holds position
- Mr Main jumps from 4th to 1st!
Based on this thoery (which I am not sure how can be put into practice) Benderoni in 2nd but with so many views is kind of a winner. maybe need's some sort of factoring to compensate for this...but my maths is beaten!!
