Remy is a shred robot from the planet Steez, sent from the future to destroy gnar.

I never wanna get hurt, but this time of year my skills are sharpest and if I get hurt I don't miss out on more than a couple weeks of riding since the snow is coming anyway. Definitely the time to go hard and build stoke to get me through the winter.
  • 43 12
 you clearly dont ski
  • 94 5
I ski and snowboard, and cross country ski and sled and whatever else I can do to fill the void, but none of these things measure up to biking.
  • 20 1
I agree! I'd much rather get hurt biking and miss some winter shredding instead of the other way around
  • 3 0
 precisely
  • 16 1
Last Ride???? Season?? Those are dirty words where I'm from.

Bros, apparently snow biking is a thing now... Void. Filled.
  • 19 1
Living in california. Void filled. Season ending? Oh you must mean the dusty season has ended.
  • 5 0
Gotta admit, that is one good thing about the drought. We might get a 11 month season out of it.
  • 3 3
Snowmobiles have handlebars, basically the same thingSmile
  • 6 0
Come to the UK its wet all year round here so nothing changes come winter except the depth of the mud :-P
  • 3 0
Another thing to look forward to: lift access fat bikes in the snow. Rumors are flying all over about the big resorts allowing it. I would love to ride some smooth packed runs on a fatty.
  • 2 0
Fat bike? Fat bike? I think your bike needs to change its diet. Stop feeding it slow rides and start making it work with some lean muscle!
  • 2 0
Next you'll tell me you use 1.9" dh tires
  • 2 0
Size is an issue for us guys, but 1.9"... C'mon dude seriously XD
  • 1 0
For the record... 2.35 maxxis high roller 60a dh casing on the front and a maxxis high roller 60a maxxpro on the back is my choice of rubber :-). 26 inch obviously.
  • 2 0
I actually laughed out loud. I hope this was meant to be tongue in cheek, because that is how i took it and I appreciate the grin on a work day.
  • 2 0
It was indeed, no problem haha XD.
  • 22 13
Bobblehead videos are creepy. Ban that camera mount!
  • 8 3
i love those videos of remy
  • 5 3
You have to be one of the few who don't like Unicorn mounts..
  • 3 1
man, i don't undestand your point with "bobblehead"... All I see here is yellow bike flicking right'n'left, rarely connected to mother earth!
  • 4 4
@skip, I'm with ya homie...it's just annoying to watch.
  • 5 1
It's great when the rider is a shredder like Remy. It doesn't work at all when the rider isn't as spectacular to watch, though.
  • 5 1
At least switch angles a few times! He's sponsored by GoPro, not like he only has one camera...
  • 1 0
 @Aksel31 isn't that the point?
  • 7 2
got to meet Remy in Whistler this summer and I have to say he is a real nice guy. I asked him how he managed to clear some of the jumps he makes and his reply, "I don't really know, I just hit them".
He invited my friend an I to ride A-line with him.. I politely declined.. "I wouldn't be riding A-line with you Remy, I'd just watching your back wheel disappearing around the berm"

sure ive heard that last sentence somewhere before then i read the name on the top and it all came to light Bear Back Chalet over a cig and a beer.
  • 1 0
alright Chris lad.. how's things since the return?
  • 1 0
All good dude just booked on for bikepark wales at the end of november for 2 days then in cornwall on boxing day while the 4th of jan trying to get some surfing in. In the meantime its local ride and building fitness ready for next year

The whip at 0:34 where he drags a leg is smooth. He does is another time later in the video but I had to watch it a couple of times to fully appreciate it. It's the little things that make good riders stylish. Nice work man. I keep hoping to see that quick TE's and front tire grabs mixed in there. I'll just hope for next season. Love the edits.
  • 5 0
The whip was even more impressive considering he was clipped in, and had to unclip in mid air!
  • 1 0
He could've unclipped before the lip, I used to do that when learning nacs while clipped in
  • 6 0
I bet it is not his lasr ride of the season Wink
  • 3 0
You're right, he's going to taxco for the urban downhill race. Wink
  • 4 0
 To hit some old ladies...
Hopefully sth. like that won´t happen again, it looked pretty bad.
  • 1 0
It will be his last lazer ride of the season if he only wears his Bell helmets from now on.
  • 1 0
Snow? Winter? Snowmobile? what are these things you speak of? just kidding, not sure if either is better, no winter and no mountain or have a mountain that is covered in snow 1/2 the time.
  • 4 1
That's so freaky,i've never seen someone concentrate so hard,i'm always looking around at shit !
  • 2 0
No kidding, man. Dude is always facing forward looking down the trail no matter what is going on with the trail or the bike. Mad skills!
  • 2 0
Great shot of his braking skills also.
  • 1 1
I was in the gondola with him and another french dude on this last day Whistler was open. The gondola attendant gave him a hard time about his GoPro camera helmet mount, saying it could break his neck if he landed on it the wrong way. I was like "he's worried about you! *lol*!"
  • 4 1
 Great video.

Devo's "Whip It" would have worked nice
  • 4 1
He's like a nokia, never stops.
  • 3 0
 He's not a rider... He's a Pilot...
  • 1 0
I now know how Remy gets so much whip; he just tries to punch the camera with the ends of his handlebars !

 such a good edit.

I didn't even notice the terrain I was so focused on his knees & legs throughout the vid.... So smooth & exacting!
  • 1 0
Looks fucking fast, IS fucking fast!!!
  • 1 0
is that a GoPro mount the public can purchase?
  • 2 0
 Ski pole and duct tape!
  • 2 1
Anyone know what kind of mount this is?
  • 1 0
 Extension Arm
  • 1 0
How does one make a mount like this?
  • 2 1
Added to favorites before even watching.
  • 5 7
And the award for blowing ones horn the hardest goes to remi metalier!!! The towns filled with a decent amount of people who can ride like that but you're definitely the best at go-pro'ing
  • 1 0
Interesting, do others in the community think the same way about him?
  • 3 1
If a decent amount of people can ride like Remi, where are their videos? Where are their sponsors? Are you implying he should not continue marketing himself just because some whistler locals are butthurt that he has more sponsors than them?
  • 1 1
to each there own. some people ride just to ride. I know some whistler locals who own older bikes and shred the sh###t outta that mountain and never talk themselves up or post stuff etc etc. (do whatever you want, who cares)
  • 2 0
Well, he also won the overall Phat wednesday DH series I believe? He's fast and has mad style. Also he's very good at putting out nice edits/pictures frequently, a social media mater Smile
  • 3 0
It's terrible! He has beautiful eyes, and his hair smells like cinnamon!
  • 1 0
 that was so sick
