This year, summer in the Swiss Alps hasn't made it easier for the Ride the Alps project. However, the small time frame between the continuous rainfall and the returning snow couldn't have been used more efficiently.
In the first part of the episode Ramon Hunziker takes us to a valley in the Alps of Bern. Later, Armin Beeli, a local from Flims, shows the Flying Metal Crew around the Alps of Grison where the snow releases a rad landscape shaped with stones and topped off with a stunning backdrop.
Dear "Weekendwarrior or "CaptainVonAwesome" before you run your mouth like that i wanna see a video of you riding that...it's very steep! And i bet you wouldn't be capable of doing it and you would pussy out! So shut the f*ck up!
?? Personal attack? You don't know me...so why would you presume to know I am unable to skid down an open, gravel mountainside, steep or not? I am unimpressed; that’s all. Apparently you do not have land rights issues in Germany? I may or may not be guilty of partaking forbidden fruit, but I believe scaring a hillside where other land users will easily witness your piracy is extremely shortsighted. Enjoy it while it lasts…I guess.
im with VonAwesome. i was pretty bored throughout this video. looked like straight lines down with a shit load of effort to get up. did not get me stoked to ride at all
div rant mode ="pissed"> Just loved those falling rocks in the very last frames of the vid :-/ Please realize that Swissieland is densely habitated and that other people are up there in the alps, either working (e.g., alpine guides, rescue teams...) or trying to have a good time (i.e. tourists) trekking, etc. Last thing we need is a carpet ban on MTB riding just because some wannabe youtube celeb freerider spreads his brains over a dangerous gravel slope or unleashes a nice flurry of rocks on the unsuspecting people below. /div>
All I saw was gravel, hiking, and talking the last line looked decent, but for a rampage level rider come on.. This guy needs to hang out with Andreu for a couple days...
